I sit here unable to get away from the evil glare of the new member mesage:

"We see you have yet to post on BigSoccer! Why don't you say hello to our community in our Introductions Forum. Become an active part of the world's largest soccer community!"

Finally after reading that for the hundreadth time or so I realized that I was not living up to the responsibilities that being a member of BS really requires of me and also the more I read it, it was an saying something about what I was giving back to the human race. So here it is the beiging of my contribution.

Welcome to BigSoccer then, against your will as it was to post here. ;)

If you haven't yet discovered the MLS Team Forums, (namely the Wizards one) it would behoove you to do so. Intelligent discussion between passionate fans is always better than telling people there are more than four major sports.

Plus if you really want to discuss 'proper' football..( :D ) there's loads of stuff going on in the European threads especially The Premiership....

Like you, I have also been guilted by the message into posting for the very first time. I check various forums pretty much everyday, so I guess it's about time. I am still apprehensive, as people can be brutal in some forums (especially the politics one). I guess this is my first step in shedding my cowardly ways.

Hey, don't worry. Most of the regs don't have a go at new people, but there are some, especially the Chicago Fire lot...... ;)

Come over to the Arsenal forum, where REAL football is talked about, you'll be ok..... :D

You see thats the problem, he's a Chelsea fan and hasn't felt able to post there..... maybe the regulars arn't nice, maybe the mods are too strict.... (most of the Mods will know what im referring too!! ;) ) but if he came over to the Arsenal we are all nice as pie, plus we won the league!!!

Thank you for the welcome glad to be here, and thanks for the heads up on the Rev and Arsenal fans however as far as the Chi Fire go we will see how receptive you are after the 22nd and my Wiz are hoisting the Dewer Trophy.

No I am refering to the USOC Dewars Cup however I am not opposed to adding the Rothenberg Trophy to this years hardware collection.

My Revs have long since fallen out of that competition, though we did make the Final once. That was cool. :rolleyes:
