I'm glad to see the La Norte site updated.

Please take this as constructive criticism: I disagree that the format looks good. It's difficult to read, there's too much animation and your mouse rollovers cross out the links. Red on Black is a very difficult color scheme to pull off successfuly, you might want to explore the use of different colors. You've started to clear up this problem by having some of your pages be black text on white with the faded LN logo in the center (I like this a lot). The background especially should probably not be black.

I'm not trying to break your balls, just trying to offer a little advice from a designer.

Thanks, I really appreciate your feedback as a pro.. I just thought I would try something different, something fun. I build websites for fun (who doesn't right?)... and man, am I having fun with this one..

The reason why I went with the red and black though is, simple, they are united colors.. I know so it's white.. but, white is everywhere... If you go to the DCU website.. it's mainly white and black with some red here and there.. Same with La Barra's and screaming eagles.. more white than red and or black.. Eagles even use gray... I'm not trying to knock on them, what I'm saying is, I wanted to bring something different.. A different flava if ya will...

I'm a big fan of the layout of the Barra and Eagles, but I didn't want to bite their style.. at least not that much.. ;)

I have had some comments with the strikethrough though.. and might remove those.. not sure yet.. as well as the soccer balls.. With these two, again, all I was trying to do is make the site more fun.. more alive if ya will..

Made some changes to the banner as suggested, or in some cases, demanded, LOL! j/k

1)I made the small fix to the banner to remove the dot (and some others) Sanguine was talking about. Hope it looks better now. Last thing I want is for people to think that we're supporters of the L. A. Gas...

2)I also changed the font color to white on the "news" sections.. hope that makes it more readable for some of you... (BarbDett, etc)

3)and last.. I got rid of the strikethrough line that came up when you clicked on the links... Thanks Lowecifer for the suggestion (and others).. It's funny, after you mentioned it.. the strikethrough started to annoyed the hell of me.. lol

Greatscott, sorry man but the gray is out.. no way.. lol :p

1)I have a "home" link on the left at the bottom, that takes you back to the main page.. I don't know if you saw it or not.. maybe that's the issue, it's not noticeable. Yeah I'll do that.

2)Good idea too, I'll work on it some time this week.
