Just go it today. And at first I was skeptical to the fact that they change their look and sound a bit. But after listening to the CD a couple of times, I gotta say that they really IMPRESSED me! The songs have a bit more groove in them this time around, somewhere between Grand Funk Railroad and the MC5. Their lyrics still have that goofy edge to them. And overall is a good record. Well worth the $$.

You can check out their first video at themooneysuzuki.com

One thing is for sure, they really know how to front-load their records.

The first 4 tracks are great, turn-it-up-loud rockers, then they kind of lose focus. There are a couple of major-league clunkers toward the end, but the good cuts are good enough to justify owning the disc. My favorite track, "Legal High", sounds like it coulda been a track from the 2nd or 3rd Kiss album!

And yeah, it was produced by The Matrix, but don't hate until you listen.

Saw them last Friday @ Maxwell's, and their live show continues to be awesome. I also saw Serg-corazon pogoing to the openers, The Sexy Magazines. (http://www.thesexymagazines.com/)

I wouldnt be caught dead pogoing to those bastards.

Funny story, a friend of mine says she saw an ad from them once when they were looking for a new drummer. In the ad they didn't specify anything that had to do with music. All it said was things like, "Must be under 21" and "Must have a cool look", nothing about type of drumming needed ot type of music. No wonder those dorks suck ass. Their lead singer looked so ********ing desperate by the merchandise table trying to get people to buy his crappy CDs in his wannabe NY Dolls gear.

You're right about the couple of songs in the middle/back end of album. Like "Messin' in the Dressin' room", "Naked Lady", and "Hot Sugar". I guess thats the part of the album were they decided to "experiment". My favorite song is NY Girls, "It's the NEW CALIFORNIA GIRLS!"
