Wtf????

Well, he sure doesn't do that well on the soccer part of things. Maybe he's a natural field hockey fella.

I guess... I was just kind of shocked. I was just flipping through and recognized the voice and low and behold it was him. I know a couple of hockey guys were doing wter polo, badminton, and table tennis, but this one seemed weird. I watched about 10 minutes, too long I know, and he seemed to know what he was talking about. I'd have no idea if he was full of it or not though.

You guys got the wrong Nick.

The NBC Olympics Field Hockey analyst is Nick CONWAY, who is the "acting head coach" of the US Women's Field Hockey Team, which did NOT qualify for Athens.

Why hasn't Nick Webster been hosting the Premiership matches lately? Max Bretos doesn't say "I'm filling in for Nick Webster who is ________" from what I've heard.

His old broadcast partner and current ESPN hockey analyst (and youth soccer coach) Bill Clement did a good bit of the table tennis and badminton color commentary.

The guy doing field hockey PBP now is a reporter/studio host for NBA TV.

Spiro Dedes also was the PBP man for Ivy League college basketball on YES. I think his color man was Tate George but I don't fully remember.

I would be quite happy with Emerick as the lead man for NBC's NHL telecasts should they happen.
