I'm sure many of you have probably seen this already, but it's always fun to watch again! There was no reason for this 'keeper to pull off this save the way he did, but it sure does make for a great highlight!

I don't know if I would really call this funny but yes, nevertheless you can argue that it was not entirely necessary. That 'keeper' though is the famous Colombian keeper Rene Higuita who was actually considered one of the best keepers in the world in the early 90's. His scorpion save/kick was done in the great Wembley stadium against England and highlighted his very flamboyant style of goal keeping. Unfortunately he is also remembered for losing the ball to Roger Milla of Cameroon in the 1990 World Cup in Italy. He was out of his box and attempted to dribble around Milla only to lose the ball and see it end up in his own net. Needless to say, Higuita was not your ordinary keeper as the video shows.
