i think the idea would be to self police unlesss you can't handle it. or nominate one of your own to lead you. but i'm sure the dc mods will keep an eye out for flagrant stuff

I disagree.

I don't like the idea of segregating the groups as will inevitably happen. There used to be more of a rivalry between the supporters groups that in large part through BigSoccer has evaporated in the last few years. In fact, this is one of the brighter spots of the last few years because there sure hasn't been much going for us on the pitch lately.

There are added levels of camraderie and a stronger sense of unity throughout the stands these days in mainly because of the fact that there has never been anything like this on the boards before.

While I'm sure that this sub-forum could be good for some things, I think in the end it will just cause more of a split between everyone again.

Someone in another thread (I already can't even remember which forum/sub-forum it was in and it was just 5 minutes ago...take that how you want) suggested that if there were to be any sub-forums there should just be one for supporters groups and then that one could have all the information for different gatherings, viewings, and tailgates. While not especially fond of any sub-forum idea, I think that this would work a lot better at least than this current set-up, and may even be a decent alternative overall.

I don't think it's going to be a problem Todd. This way we can link directly to articles and pics on the Barra website without cluttering up the DC board. We can post on HH's and events and maybe even have a "Babe Thread" :D

All serious discussion and banter will remain on the DC forum. We're not looking to segregate, just expand the Barra's doings in our own little way. I bet there won't be more than 2 or 3 threads going on at once. It's not that big a deal.

--Todd's probably right though... ONE sub forum for all the groups would probably be enough though. There just arent that many supporters posting in here (that I am aware of) to REALLY justify seperate fourms.
