Is anyone able to give me any information on this player, is he any good? What position does he play?
Why have lens agreed to let him go on trial at Blackburn Rovers?

Charly Coridon is a decent attacking midfield player who can chip in some goals. He generally played wide or in an attacking midfield role for us. He has good technique but does tend to be a one footed player too much (right). When he's on form he's quite a good player, the drawback is that he tends to be pretty inconsistent...plays really well for a stretch and then disappears or is dreadful.
As to why Lens let him go, basically he wants out of Lens. He was set to go to Guingamp at the end of last season but after they were relegated he changed his mind. RCL is building a team very much centered around collective spirit, Charly does not seem to fit into that mold, so they are looking to get rid of him.
Coincidentally, Olivier Thomert also seems as if he'll be shipped out if not this summer than certainly in January when the window reopens.

Would he be pacey, skillful, taking on players and setting up alot of goals?

Not particularly pacey, not slow but I wouldn't say pace is one of his top qualities. Saying he's technical to me is saying he possesses a bit of skill so yes he is skillful and he'll take someone on. On average I'd say he's good for 6-8 goals and maybe the same in assists per season. He's not a bad player, he just could, in the opinion of some, play more to his potential.

Didn't he score against PSG a few seasons ago Lensois?
Mind you, nearly all Lens players do.... :(

In fact it was last season in the match at the Bollaert.
The PSG rivalary is one our best. Lille is good, but it's relatively friendly, not a lot of animosity between the clubs. Marseille is good as well but I'd have to say the one supporters get up for the most are PSG and Lyon.

JM Aulas approached them with an offer for John Utaka but was refused.
