Berlin, Berlin we want to go to Berlin again!
More than 15 years are now gone since the BVB was able to reach a German Cup Finale. In those days it were Norbert Dickel, Frank Mill and Michael Lusch who scored the goals for the 4:1 victory against the favourite Werder Bremen. What followed were depressing loses and depressing performances. Only once Borussia could reach the quarter finale again. After starting the German Cup in the last three years against teams from the fourth division, VFB Lübeck was now a team from the third division which Borussia had to play in the first round. For Lübeck it was more or less the game of the year since reaching the semi finale last year and being relegated from the second division....

Lousy match and in halftime it rained cats and dogs (and even bigger animals).
