Judging Bayern by the way they played the first two bundesliga games, Bayer, VfB, Bremen, Dortmund and Schalke are all capable of challenging them, but i expect it to be only a matter of time until Bayern get to their full strenght, and then they ll be impossible to stop. But Bayer should try and beat them, that would be good for all of us., Leverkusen supporters and non-leverkusen supporters.

I checked the FSW schedule on their web site yesterday and thought I saw that their televised match was going to be Kaiserslautern - Stuttgart. I was more than a little surprised as I thought showing Leverkuesen vs. Bayern Munich was the more likely choice.
I'm as big a fan of this team as anyone, but if we don't bring our "A" game on the 28th, I don't see how we win. And other than a big flourish in the 2nd half against Banik, that top-level play has been lacking. Every account of the victory over Hannover includes the phrase "Leverkusen was lucky to win," and the Bochum match didn't impress me much either. I'll gladly take the 4 points to start the season, but over the long haul some of those breaks are going to go against us, and I can just as easily see us sitting here with 0 points right now as well.
I recognize that Bayern has only defeated a weak Hamburg team and tied Hertha Berlin, but they dominated against Hamburg and were never really threatened. Plus, we will need to expend some effort just 3 days earlier in the Champions League, while Bayern is off.
I'll be rooting for a victory, but I'm not betting much money on it.

I agree, we'd better bring our A game. I have not been very impressed with our style of play, or lack there of. I know it is still early but we better start gelling real quick. I give our team credit for hanging in there and scrapping and fighting to come back and win vs Hannover and tying Bochum. The never die attitude is good, now we have to start playing like we know we can.
