Why is Sacchi ahead of Zagallo?

You really gotta give it to Rehagel at the moment.

I would say Martin O’Neil. I’ve watched closely what he has done at Celtic basically with one arm tied behind his back. He makes bad players good. Good player’s brilliant and brilliant player’s world beaters. The man is a genius. I bet he is the next Man U managers as well. It has all been mapped out for him He is the only man who is strong enough to take over from Fergie.

Arsene Wenger-Gets unknown young player and make them "STAR"
Marcello Lippi-Great Tactician

correction: Arsene Wenger- Gets the world's most talented guys and gives them playing time so they can develop.

A lot of people knew Henry, Viera, Reyes,... before they got famous, but Arsene Wenger was the only one who could convince them to come to his club.

Its only Ray Parlour

I agree with that sentiment to a certain extent, you could also include Anelka, Overmars and lately Cesc Fabregas to that list.

But what about Cole, Toure, Ljungberg & Petit? The man deserves credit for what he does.

Based on success and longevity, the best coach has to be Zagallo. The guy is still coaching at the highest level. Astonishing! Apart from him, Scolari and Wenger have been great as well. Marcelo Bielsa has succeeded in getting rid of Argentina's negativity and has been making them play in a non-stop attacking mode. That deserves credit. Mourinho and Rehhagel, although not overflowing in creativity, have managed to achieve success with the squads at their disposal. That is also creditable.

Marcello Lippi is probably the best. Carlos Bianchi is high up there as well. I like Mancini for what he did with Lazio when they lost all their stars.

I don’t know how this thread could have gotten this far without Alex Ferguson being mentioned! The man has done it all!
