I'd say, currently, my personal rankings would be:

1. Casillas
2. Buffon
3. Frey
4. Cesar
5. Enke
I'd order them:

1. Buffon
2. Casillas
3. Frey
4. Julio César
5. Kameni

I would be putting VDS in my list.

I forget you could not edit on this board. I meant to add that I would drop Enke and Kameni from your lists in order to add VDS.

Friedel was stunning today against Manchester United (goal aside).

Timo Hildebrand (VfB Stuttgart)

Check back in three or four years. He'll be a serious choice.

Timo definitely has had some sick games for Valencia.

He usually is. Unfortunately for Blackburn he does not extend that form to the rest of the season.

I'm surprised none of the Italian posters have mentioned Sebastien Frey.

Well, I just found this thread... ;) I don't know of a keeper who has better than Frey the last 2-4 years. Frey obviously has not had a chance on the international stage but I think that way too much is given to these off-season tournaments, anyway.

It also hurts that he's been playing for Fiorentina the past 4 years and they haven't been in the CL. You watch next year if he moves to a big club(Milan/Roma/Bayern/etc.) he will all of a sudden be claimed as a world class keeper

I know you're trying to jinx us but it won't work. ;)

Consider that even though he has not played in a CL, we are on the verge (fingers crossed) of gaining enough points to qualify for it for the 3rd consecutive term.

Which would be ironic for Frey if he moves to Milan in the summer. He worked so hard for Fiorentina to get to the CL only to sign for a UEFA Cup team ;)

Frey in my opinion. The man is incredible. Brilliant reflex & excellent communication. Really gets Fiorentina a lot of points.

Other keepers that should be on the list: J.Cesar, Buffon, Casillas, Vyacheslav Malafeev, Manuel Neuer & Palop. Plus some other I at the moment can’t think of.
