Alright all you fools who were talking crap last season bring it.
Last year i said drogba and Cisse should be in the EPL.I said Carlton Cole should be back at Chelsea and i said Jay jay okocha was the best creative midfielder in the EPL.Last but not least i said Henry is the greatest striker ever.
drogba-not a bad start he got and assist ,when every other striker outside of Henry and Okocha would have went for goal.
Cisse-Goal.
Cole- Goal.
Okocha 1 assist, 2 incredible goals.
Henry-as usual unselfish and gifted an assist in similar vein to Drogbas.
all in all not a bad start to the season to my picks.
Hey.Shearer got a goal though.........a penalty.
Okocha is still the missing link for Chelsea.

Yeah, which is more than he got in the ENTIRE premiership season last year. Which is the year you were saying this rubbish. Even Bolton fans were arguing against you on this point.
The fact that Okocha has started well this season does not make your ridiculous appraisal of his performances last season any closer to being correct.
Okocha is still the missing link for Chelsea.
Chelsea have shown they haven't got room for players who are amazing one game in a season then useless the next few games by getting rid of Jesper Gronkjaer.
Last year i said drogba and Cisse should be in the EPL
Cisse's move was arranged years ago. You saying "Cisse should be in the EPL" ages after Houllier said "I will bring Cisse to the EPL" isn't really that much of an observation.
Buying players like Drogba on the back of one great season is often risky. I wouldn't proclaim Drogba a success just yet. He has certainly looked the part so far though.
Last but not least i said Henry is the greatest striker ever.
Wow! How brave you are... must be dangerous to voice an opinion that absolutely EVERYONE agrees with...
I said Carlton Cole should be back at Chelsea
He's not. I guess Chelsea aren't listening to you.

Cisse was always going to join Liverpool. As for Drogba... 1 game, no goals and not a particuarly brilliant performance. £24 million? ROFL
drogba-not a bad start he got and assist ,when every other striker outside of Henry and Okocha would have went for goal.
Not a £24 million performance though was it?
Cisse-Goal.
Yay, French striker scores against Tottenham!
Okocha 1 assist, 2 incredible goals.
It only took him 40 odd games to do it, well done to the lad. We play Fulham next week I bet he disappears.
all in all not a bad start to the season to my picks.
Yawn.
Okocha is still the missing link for Chelsea.
He wouldn't get in the team because you can't play one game in 7 an expect to stay in the Chelsea side.

Remember you?
Yeah! You're the bloke who said Sun Jihai was the best left-sided player in the Premiership and that a vast, secret conspiracy against Chinese people was the only reason he didin't win the European Footballer of the Year award.
Welcome back!

Yawn. Its very easy these days to be "great" apparently. All it takes is scoring a couple of nice goals against Charlton to be considered the best creative player in England. I can't wait till Emile Heskey or Mark Viduka takes up that mantle.
As for Henry being the best striker on the planet; someone didn't watch the Euros!
Say, how's Sun Jihai doing? LOL.

The best striker on the planet is Ronaldo has been for the past 5-6 years and will be possibly until he retires!

Remember you? I'm still picking gooey, sticky fragments of your repeatedly pulverised "arguments" off my keyboard. In fact, I want your postal address, so I can send you the bill for the clear-up.

I wasn't aware of liverpool having Cisse on the books.
i think your are all looking past the point which is all these players made an impact in week one. That's all,it's just coincidence.
I'll raise your ire a little more shall i,and say that defoe will have a biiger impact on thye game than Rooney.

I'll agree with you in as much as he should be given as good a chance to prove himself!

I love Defoe and I think that as he improves he will be right up there as one of the finest goalpoachers in the game, but even I know he ain't in the same class as Rooney, not now, not ever. Defoe needs his team mates to contribute, Rooney can do it all on his own.

You're not aware of much of anything football-related - that's why you are the comical entertainer that you are. ******** me, even drowned cows in Bangladesh knew Cisse had signed for Liverpool. Remind us - why is it you waste your time on here again? I mean, apart from the strange desire to get kicked around by everyone, that is.
As to your sign-off revelation ... I'm not sure I can raise any form of ire on something we will have to wait another 15 years to properly assess.

On a more serious note, as much as I'd like to agree with you nurspec regarding Jermain Defoe, exciting prospect he may be but Rooney he isn't.
