Despite being in the top 25, board members are very upset with 6 year old manager, Chloe Adams.

She wheeled and dealed too early this week and it looks like Sinclair is fit after all. With Campbell's injury looking serious she hit the market again leading to a 4 point deduction for the first time this season.

Campbell stays on the team but will be warming the bench it seems.

This may already have been discussed... is money in the bank taken into account in compiling this ranking? I am not alone in having 2+ in the bank and would hate to think I could be penalized for fielding less expensive talent and managing my money.

The money in the bank is included with the assets on the pitch to make up your total Team Value.

In some respects, money in the bank is dead money..... as it earns no interest :)

I just thought I'd do a quick table to show how much spending reserves we all have.....

The advantage of money in the bank is that we can pick up a more expensive player without having to trade two or three players to balance the books.

1800-UK.com..... 4.4
Chelsea in PA..... 3.9
Cape Tribulation..... 3.0
Jones Cracked Wheat..... 2.8
London St. Germain..... 2.4
FOMUS..... 0.7
Kopite Juniors..... 0.0
Trollpop Aviation..... 0.0

1800-UK.com 40
Chelsea in PA 37
Kopite Juniors 37
Jones Cracked Wheat 35
Cape Tribulation 32
London St. Germain 28
Trollpop Aviation 26
FOMUS 22

1800-UK.com need 11 points from 3 Spurs players... away to Sunderlad (Richards, Poyet and Steady Teddy).

A clean sheet should do it... or a goal from Richards.... as long as all three play 60 minutes and don't go in the referee's book.

If Rooney didn't play and Ryan Giggs (5) replaced him, we would have only been chasing six points :(

Glenn Hoddle is hoping for a good show from the lads, as Kopite Juniors have fielded all their players.

In the other League Cup semi-final...

London St. Germain has closed the gap to 4...... with Kewell and Davies still to play... and 1 point to be added for Inamoto (second sub).

Trollpop Aviation still have Keller and Bowyer to play.... along with the points for subs Ouaddou (1 point) and Fortune (1 point).

Another one going to the wire.

The FA Cup Final will probably be.....

FOMUS vs Kopite Juniors.

Soccernet (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/soccernet/preview?matchID=54544&leagueCup=ENG.1)

The vast majority of the {Sunderland} players who fought out an unlikely victory at Highbury will be replaced, although striker Marcus Stewart staked his claim for a start with a double and keeper Michael Ingham will return to the bench after being cup-tied in midweek.

Jason McAteer (hernia), David Bellion (groin), Claudio Reyna (knee), Thomas Sorensen (elbow), Thomas Myhre (thigh), Nicolas Medina (knee) and Julio Arca (ankle) remain on the casualty list, while veteran striker Niall Quinn is still struggling with a back problem.

{snip}

Skipper Teddy Sheringham, Steffen Freund and Jamie Redknapp will return to the team after being rested, although Redknapp must first shake off a touch of flu, while Dean Richards may still be ruled out with an eye injury.

If Richards doesn't play, then Giggs will come in with his 5 points.....

Poyet and Sheringham would need to make 6 points between them as 1800-UK.com has the better team value :)

If needed (ie Poyet doesn't play), second sub Legwinski has 2 points to bring to the table, so Teddy would have to score..... or set one up.

Come on you Spurs!

Did I mention I have a soft spot for Sunderland? That I think Wilkinson is a great manager and that Flo is a great forward.

Ok, I am delusional, but come on Sunderland! :D

London St. Germain vs Trollpop Aviation

London St. Germain has closed the gap to 4...... with Kewell and Davies still to play... and 1 point to be added for Inamoto (second sub).

Trollpop Aviation still have Keller and Bowyer to play.... along with the points for subs Ouaddou (1 point) and Fortune (1 point).

At Half-time.....

It's very much advantage Harry Kewell... two goals and an assist (no clean sheet) = 15 points

Lee Bowyer has earned only 2 points so far....

Without taking substitutions and the Spurs game into account, it's now London St. Germain 43 -- Trollpop Aviation 28

Hmmm, I sold Sinclair because of his broken cheekbone and he plays and scores, not happy right now.

As The Hammers try to get back into the game..... Sinclair proved that he should still be in the Kopite team.... scoring West Ham's third goal.

Oh..... and Lee Bowyer 87 gets a yellow card.... :(

After the Leeds game, Trollpop Aviation need Kasey Keller to keep a clean sheet and score a hat-trick... especially if Simon Davies gets among the goals......

All players start....

Kasey Keller, Dean Richards, Simon Davies, Gustavo Poyet and Teddy Sheringham.

Fingers crossed!

It's 0-0 at half-time.... which would be enough for 1800-UK.com to play London St. Germain in the 'Small Rocks' League Cup Final.....

Spurs need the three points to take fourth spot in the FA Premiership table though.....

Half of Glenn Hoddle is happy, the other half needs a little more from The Lillywhites.

Kevin Phillips scores for Sunderland on the hour....

Deano needs to equalise....

Tore Andre Flo adds a second two minutes later....

And then Bunjevcevic comes on for Poyet ..... 25 minutes to go.....

Deano needs to score and Sheringham needs to provide the assist!
