Enckleman has packed his bags, I have this announced on the site forum, Cudicini comes in.
I double checked and no-one had him, let me know if this is wrong.

I can't get into the premierleague site, but I see that Inamoto went off at half time.
A Sinclair goal will be very welcome right now.

With the Second Round being a best of 4.... aggregate score, there's still plenty to play for.
However, in the FA Cup:
FOMUS and Kopite Juniors have already opened up considerable leads.... +18 and +32 repectively.
Things are looking tighter in the League Cup where 1800-UK.com and Trollpop Aviation only trail by -3 and -2.
Without any double games, Glenn Hoddle is going to need a rub of luck to get an advantage over Kopite Juniors.

Last week was a black one for London St. Germain, defined as it was by injury and poor performance. But there is sun on the horizon: Pires played 20 minutes against Auxerre on Tues, and Van Nistelrooy's hammies should be better soon too. 32 point weeks ain't what we're about, nor is a £20 mil bench... But with Pires returning to health here's hoping we're through the early season doldrums that we expected.
Hal, that was a heck of a defensive struggle we had in round one... Two highly, umm, disciplined teams that wouldn't, er, allow any points to be scored against them...

Ho Hum...the drearyness of mid table league and out of the cups syndrome is upon me.......

The bruised and battered Kopite Junior squad limps into this weekend with major injury worries.
After some epic cup matches with 1-800-world cup and ClanBlue's dirty fouling X1, both Gerrard and Bellamy are doubtful for this weekend.
Andy Griffin's heroics in the Champs League match v Juventus (no I don't have him on that fantasy team!) make him an almost certain starter this weekend. After conceding 5 goals last weekend this makes 6 year old manager Chloe a little nervous.
Henry is complaining of being tired, so Chloe is searching for the right captain after Sinclair's outstanding double game performance.
The lack of depth on the Kopite Juniors squad maybe revealed this weekend :(

Here's how our teams are doing financially.... and their changes since last Saturday.
1800-UK.com 101.7 (+0.6)
Kopite Juniors 101.2 (+0.2)
Trollpop Aviation 101.0 (+0.1)
London St. Germain 100.6 (-0.1)
FOMUS 100.4 (+0.4)
Chelsea in PA 100.4 (+0.2)
Cape Tribulation 99.9 (-0.1)
Jones Cracked Wheat 99.8 (-0.1)
The transfer deadline has passed for this week..... and Cape Tribulation is fielding 4 injured midfielders :(

Not sure about this "Bonus Points" thing...
Jimmy Floyd is given MOTM honors by Sky and BBC, but our game stiffs him. He's also credited with "setting up" Le Saux's goal, but no assist is forthcoming. Must have been a rebounded shot or something.
Oh well, Jones Cracked Wheat is finally on the move, with JFH and Robert finally beginning to carry their weight. Beckham is still mostly ballast though. And Le Saux shut up the naysayers amongst team management who immediately regretted spending so much on a defender when Malbranque became available midweek.

Hasselbaink did nothing to deserve MOTM honours, that would go to Frank Lampard.
Le Saux was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time as Hasselbainks thunderbolt was cleared off the line right at him.

With Niell's 5 pts coming off the bench to replace Harte (thank god he didn't play), Jones Cracked Wheat will produce their fourth consecutive "season high" point total:
Weeks 1-5, so far...
31 pts.....35 pts.....41 pts.....47 pts......48 pts (+ anything Di Canio does today)
I sense that the 50 point barrier will be broken for the first time!
In less optimistic news, Beckham continues to be the most overpaid, biggest bust in the Very Small Rocks universe, and now has to sit out next weeks' game due to Yellow Card accumulation. Anyone have someone else in the running for "Underperformer of the Year" so far? Methinks Spice Boy and his 9.0 salary is running away with it.

Bellamy's injury looks serious, he's off to Colorado for his surgeon to look at it.
Hmmm, I'll wait and see on the report, but Bellamy might have to pack his backs.
Can't afford too many injured players in the squad.

Shocked to find that my 46 points this week were enough to put Kopite Juniors into the top 25 overall and number 1 amongst all USA based players.
The KC press is hailing this 6 year old manager a genius, once she turns 7 in December she'll be past it!! :D
