Carrera GT ( so, so gorgeous) and a GT3 Cup or a Turbo as a daily driver LOL

Mercedes and Porsche are apples to oranges really, with Porsche being a lot more of a driver's car while Mercedes being the luxo-touring car.

as beautiful as that McLaren-made machine is, I would still pick a Carrera GT over it if I printed my own money LOL

If we're talking about "traditional" Benzs, it is apples and oranges. If it's that very powerful SLR, I think I'd still go with the Benz. Looks like a sports car but it still has that classy look to it. I think that Porsche looks a little like the Toyota MR-2 (headlights)

I would too, but the MR-2 did come out before the new Carrera did...just trying to keep things neutral, even though it is very difficult. :)

The new MR2 is more like a copy of the Boxster, which is considerably older.

Probably significantly cheaper too. The Japanese sports cars have a tendency to copy the European models.

One thing I like about Germany is

Merdedez and BMW.

I worked in the Daimler Sindelfingen plant for my summer job in 1982. So if you own an '83 Mercedes sedan, it may have been sanded by DoctorD.

In typical German fashion, I got a diploma as a Schleifer (sander).
