Taylor and Beattie's relationship??

What do you think of Matt Taylor and Jame Beattie of being good mates?
I mean, I just find it a bit strange like, where did they meet and did they make friends before they went to Pompey and Southampton? I just find it a bit odd they made friends what with their clubs rivalry(sp)? :confused:
Another thing when i watched them talking about their friendship on skysports Beattie was constantly talking about beating Portsmouth and Taylor kept quiet the whole way through.
What's your views?
