How will BVB fair this season?

Do they look like Bundesliga title contenders? UEFA Cup, CL, or the German Cup???

What trophies do you think they will hoist?

They have the talent, but their early results have been mixed (1 - 2 and 3 - 2 against Wolfsburg and Münchengladbach). My bet would be on a uefa cup spot since Bayern are really strong this year and that would leave only to other champions league berths which VfB, Leverkusen, Bremen and Schalke and Dortmund are all capable of taking. Because of this battle for a few places, i doubt they will take it, but a uefa cup slot should be easily manageable. German teams have faired really poorly in Europe recently so i m not sureif they will do that well. Probably a place in the last 16 or the quarterfinals.

My guess is 6th to 4th spot....3rd spot at maximum. Hopefully we do better in DFB-Cup than the last couple of years.

I think if we were to get some defensive help, we could finish in the top four easily.

However, since it's almost obvious management will not be getting any defensive help, I think BVB will finish somewhere between fifth and tenth.

And fifth only if Christoph Metzelder can come back strong sometime before the winter break. I don't think that will happen though.

I just hope I'm wrong.
