hmmm, I just say it to myself when I am excited and ready to go into attack mode. It just comes so naturally. Usually I am calm and lay back, but when I go into the "ole ole la la land", I get hyper. I know...its all mental, lol :D

I'm tired of hearing that damn word, I'm not even playing.
As far as I know the word "Ole" comes from bullfights. That's what the bullfighter/people say when the bull goes by him.
THAT WORD DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SOCCER.
If you watch soccer in the spanish channel, I don't think that you are EVER going to hear one of the narrators saying "Ole". At least I haven't.

Correct. Ole comes from bullfights. People use it in soccer when you see teams keeping possession/making several passes without losing the ball and the other team can't get the ball away from them. The team with the ball is toying with the other team.

I forgot that people say "Ole" when one team is passing the ball around.

I grew up in SouthAmerica in a spanish speaking country.
I notice that people in the US seem to love to say "Ole" for every f...ing play that they do.
I play with a couple of guys that say "Ole" even when somebody beats somebody else runnning with the ball :(

I say Ole only to mock people when I do a great "drible", or when I see someone saying "hi" but the other person turns away because he/she didn't see it.

Again, you definitely have never played street. I play with a bunch of Uruguayans and Argentinians, and everytime someone gets nutmegged or just beat really badly, you hear "ĦOle!"
