Otherwise Germany will fall even worse.
Why some germans never realize it?

While we are at it let's get Schevchenko too!

... Oh oh how about Chivu and Samuel as well!!

also wait!! I saw this one guy from my PS2 football game... blah blah blah.

This is the same guy that gave us this very thought-provoking intriguing thread. (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128442)

Ailton wants interantional football so bad he had a deal with Qatar to play for them, in return for a lot of money and citizenship.

Is this the way playing for a country should work? This seems more of a mercenary style than a national one to me.

I usually don't like to think in absolutes, but I really believe this will never happen.

Let that fat idiot convince the Brazilian coach to play for them.

I dont like the idea of letting foreign players play for the german NT. I dont know all of them, but i remember everyone sucked after they became germans :p
The ones i remember are: Rink, Dundee and Asamoa

Donno where the first 2 play now, but they sucked really bad in the german NT. Asamoa is also not an option now.

FIFA has this stupid rule of if your parents or grandparents were born in a country you can play for that country. So if your family is moves around a lot say grandpa was born in holland, grandma was in ireland, mom in France, Dad in Italy and you were born in the USA. Then you have your choice of playing for Holland, ireland, France, Italy and the USA. And if you stay in a place for 3 years you can play for them too if they give you citizenship so If you were a epl player then you can also add England to your list of options. It should just be the country you hold your citizenship.

OK, Ailton is a goot forward, but I think, there is much more needed to play in the German NT.

I can understand him, he's a super player without any nationl team.
But when he played another super season he'll play in the Brazil NT.

Not really, Ailton is old and brazil has alot of younger strikers better then him. Even if he does play another good season I doubt it he will ever be capped.

I think you would better know the regulation from FIFA than your own thoughts

Do you want to see Germany even more horrible shape?
Too much nationalism isn't good for your own country

Ailton is still Brazilian, he is getting older, and Germany would still have its troubles. We need a lot of things sorted out and its not just up front.

besides youngsters like Podolski, lauth Kuranyii will suffer the most in their development.

lol too late my friend.
Podolski, Klose, Kuranyi, Brdaric... very German! lol.
Neuville is also Swiss. He was able to play for Germany becuase his dad is German.
What were they thinking by capping Asamoa?

Might as well forget about the German national team then.
Germany needs to become a well organized, hard working team that can use its flanks to maximum ability and send in crosses for players like Klose and Ballack to capitalize on.
Greece did it, Korea did it, Alaves did it and now Germany must do it.
