i didn't get to see the game, just the spurs commentary from the website...

seems to me that every time there was a defensive blunder, the name thatcher came up... at one point apparently he watched a fulham player run by him...

shocking. i hope ledley and carr get back soon.

I reckon you could hear us crashing back down to Earth all the way over in the States. We need to bounce back from this on Sunday big style. Thatcher and Perry are not goood enough for the Prem and I'm afraid Gardner doesnt inspire confidence in me yet. We need Freund and Carr back

Absolutely true! Thatcher and Perry are shocking, and while both can tackle, Perry can't pass to save his life and Thatcher is way too slow (and he can't pass either!)

Neither player has the right to be in this Spurs team. It's a sorry indictment of ex-England coach Keegan that he wanted to pick Thatcher for his squad.

Gardener and King together are brilliant. Richards is poor.

Thatcher, you're shite mate, almost as slow as Sherwood.
