And it is halftime at LSG 3 and the away team The Class Acts has the edge over the home team so far at 12 - 31. The man of the half and maybe the the match is TCA Leon Osman who has scored a brace for the away team. He has amassed an impressive 12 Points. Other results of the matches in the cup will be aired in a few minutes right here on fantasy television :D

And here are the Halftime scores folks:

1800france.com 13 - 28 Ajax Reserves

Favoured as the team to win the first leg by our pundit it looks like that is what Ajax Reserves is trying to do.

Windsor Wanderers 24 - 36 Kopite Juniors

The pundit said that Kopite had the edge for this week and by the looks of it they did.

London St Germain 12 - 31 The Class Acts

Pundit favoured the Class Acts for this week and he was right so far again.

FC Springfield 58 - 24 DC Chickenhawks

Our pundit had DC for the adv. for this week but I think his biasness got in the way as FC now have a whopping 58 Points!! at the half due to the Rooney brace and he is the captain.

Aviators 17 - 8 KC Dynamo

The pundit predicted his team to have a walkover for this one. I too have to agree with him.

Sporting FC Colombia 13 - 39 Nocturnal United

Pundit said he was looking for an upset and I think he was spot on.

AS Saint Lambert 0 - 21 Ramrod FC

The ASSL have yet to get a point in this encounter. The pundit might be right about another upset.

TVD Phenoms 19 - 33 Winning Connection

A clash between the two leaders. WC have the edge at the moment. The pundit might be wrong this week.

Something interesting about the matches at the half. Six out of the eight away teams this week have the lead. The home fans not getting their money's worth?

The manager of 1800-France.com left his points on the bench and didn't need Quinton Fortune to come on for Manchester United for a measley point.

Bad, bad, bad!

I hope that I can get a trophy so that I can use my polish on something besides our sole silver medal. Some more updates coming through the halfway mark of the second half.

1800france.com 32 - 37 Ajax Reserves

This is game on at 1800 as the home side have clawed theirselves just 5 points from the away team. 1800france still have Fowler to give a contribution to the team and will even get more points since Robbie Keane came off the bench to score. Is that the gamewinner? Maybe not as Martyn and Carsley were very important of the bench for the Ajax Reserves and Dunne and Huckerby might still prove factors. Interesting game here.

Windsor Wanderers 24 - 45 Kopite Juniors

I think that the home fans have conceded this one as only the goalie can add any more points with Kopite Juniors still having the same goalie Green :p and Darren Huckerby.

FC Springfield 68 - 36 DC Chickenhawks

The home faithful are chanting as their team are dominating this matchup with Francis still due. DC though will get some extra points for the overall from Granville and De Zeuww.

Aviators 23 - 13 KC Dynamo

This is a stroll in the park for the home side as they still have on cue Francis and Ashton while the KC have......no one.

Sporting FC Colombia 14 - 39 Nocturnal United

The away side look to have got this one in the bag as they even will get more points off Boyce. Colombia will get some too from Quedrue and maybe Thacther.

AS Saint Lambert 12 - 23 Ramrod FC

The home fans are rolling out as it is all over for them. Ramrod will try to increase their aggregrate lead from Parnaby or Dunne.

27 Feb 2005, 04:23 PM
TVD Phenomenoms 22 -33 Winning Connection

Winning Connection has this one in the bag as BOTH of the teams have Wright Philips and David James to make a contribution. Just say WC have a 11 point aggregrate lead.

Last but certainly not least is :

London St. Germain3 14 - 33 The Class Acts

This match is all but over as LSG3 have run out of players while TCA still have Ahston and maybe even Brenan who is warming the bench. You will hear an interview in the near future as TCA fans sing and chant about their team's victory. This is even sweeter to them as it was the same LSG 3 that knocked the out of the UEFA Cup quarters by a measly six points.

Who says failure can't be entertaining?! I felt like a clever manager by picking up players who'd actually play without disrupting my team too much. Then:

1) Van Persie the Idiot Boy gets sent off.

2) With Saha stripped down on the sideline ready to come on and be the hero, Rooney scores the gamewinner. Saha (my captain no less) sits back down and doesn't play a minute.

One has to laugh. But a 20-point (and counting, admittedly) margin is still manageable with 2 gameweeks left to play...

That penalises transfers too.

IMO, transfers SHOULD be penalized a bit. The whole point of a drafted league is that you pick your players and form a "team." There are the stock market style games designed to encourage mass transfers every week (Yahoo EPL, for instance) and then there are games like this one.

Just my $0.02

It might be actually now a 30+ point as margin as Ashton wraps the match for TCA with a goal and an assist. The away fans are going wild as Ashton might even get more than his 12 points with his MOM performance( hint to fantasy prem!! :p )

A 'drafted league' also means that no two teams may have the same player.

As the available pool is not always swimming with quality, it take a shrewd manager to make the right moves (in time) for the next Gameweek(s).

We want to encourage activity in the drafted league and playing the transfer game for the knockout rounds is about as active as it gets.

Transfers are already 'penalised' by the PremierLeague.com and the penalties are reflected in the overall standings.... for those who care about them.

That's the main reason we do drafted leagues, to run our own leagues, cups and scoring systems.

Oh..... and make up our own rules.

:D
