Oh Hattrick For Henry!!!

You're not singing anymore.....

Lowest score of the week means even Ram Rod FC would have beaten you.

;)

1800-France.com vs Kopite Juniors (40-44)
A nice away win for Kopite Juniors, means 1800-France.com have to come from behind again.

As we won't be around for the 'one-off' semi-final, we'll need a massive dose of double luck to get anywhere near the final.

It's been a fun season though, and good luck to the two teams who do make it to the final.

The Class Acts vs FC Springfield (22-41)
The Class Acts have got a mountain to climb to get back into this game.

Aviators vs Nocturnal United (70-55)
A bronze medal week for Nocturnal United had to occur when Aviators claimed the gold. With Henry back and firing on all cylinders the balance of this tie has swung dirction of the Golden Boot.

AS St-Lambert vs WinningConnection (37-39)
Something of an off day for WinningConnection but luckily AS St-Lambert's day was even off-er.

====================
I'll back be back sometime during during the final.... see you all then!

What sportmanship?! Keane hits the post and gets booked. Ronaldo should have put away his chances. ********ing Oleary takes of Mellberg at the half depriving me off 5 damn points. It all went wrong. At least the gap is not THAT huge.

Yeah well my captain was my lowest scorer of the week, and two of my key guys only came off the bench, so its not like you were the only one with bad luck... your only hope is that my whole team is virtually playing away from home this week... I'll probably need to make some transfers after champions league play is done today.

Kopite Juniors are cautiously optimistic about their chances of making the semi finals. But 1800 should never be taken lightly.

Good luck to all in the next leg.

Aware that 1800-France.com need to rise from the dead yet again, Michel Platini is prepared to take drastic action and try to perform miracles to advance in the competition.

"Kopite Juniors have been looking very good in training, but we need to concentrate on our own strengths," Monsignor Platini told La Gazzetta dello Sport; before his return flight from Pope John Paul II's funeral, in Rome.

"The service was very moving but we need to concentrate on worldy matters again. This rosary I brought in The Vatican might help," he winked - to the Italian media.

As our major strength tends to be luck, we aim to stregthen our weakness by calling on Lady Luck again.

Blessed be the giver of miracles for we are in desperate need of another one!

OUT:
Queudrue, Defender, Middlesbrough, 6.2
El Karkouri, Defender, Charlton, 5.0
Keane, Striker, Tottenham, 9.0

FC Springfield manager Ralph Wiggum told reporters he was "cautiously optimistic" that FC Springfield would advance to the semi-finals of the presitigious Rock Hard Championship Cup. "The Very Small Rocks Title is out of reach" conceded Wiggum " so we have an extra incentive to come out firing tomorrow".

While Wiggum praised the Class Acts as a "potentially dangerous squad", he was confident that Springfield stars Rooney, Gerrard, Gallas, and Solano would deliver enough points.

While Ljungberg is injured, Wiggum expressed confidence that Ben Haim would bring Bolton a clean sheet in his absence.

Kopite Jrs quickly opens soccernet.com to see who Villa are playing and whether that poses a threat to Mr Terry and Nelsen -- the Juniors formidable backline laughs. Then they turn nervously and see Robert Green behind them and weep openly.

"He's a great keeper" said John Terry but Norwich have more holes in their defense than my granny's undies :(

Potentially is right!:( My team like it only get the points to get by. Hopefully I can cut the deficit with Ronaldo and Keano facing Norwich and all. Hopefully Rooney keeps quiet. Thing even get worse as Papa and Mellberg wont be in the lineup. Can my team pull this off or fall to another Quarterfinal exit of another competition? This is our last chance for some silverware besides the two medals we have. (Silver)

EDIT: Good luck to FC as they have a great squad. And as one on the representitives of Very Small Rocks I hope you going to win IF you get past my team that is :p

This move by Michel was made after this week's transfer deadline.
You are still facing Carvalho and Laursen for this week's match and Carvalho didn't start.

Ashton had a great game... but Francis kept a clean sheet for me due to Ljungberg's injury... if Villa plays well tomorrow I'm set I think :)

But eh! Ashton is due 3 more points for MOM. And I still got Alan and Osman left on the board. I am still in it.

You have three players left... I have four. You gained 5 points on me today, so I'm still ahead by 14... will be close though...

Actually make that 9 since I just checked the site. It is 40-50 to you and you have one more player than me. Now this is really going to be close. If Villa dont perform and my players' teams do I may actually pull this off. You were right I am potentially dangerous. My team like they perform when they need too. The thing is I have:

Ziegler (Newcastle) & Shearer(Spurs). I should pray that Shearer scores a few and Ziegler scores a compensation.

Then Osman against Palace. I hope Everton thrash them and Villa dont perform. And to think they pundits said yo had a commanding lead. pfffft. ;)
