Anyone want to go through and do the provisional scores?

I've got a sneaky feeling 1800-France.com will meet with Kopite Juniors.

The Class Acts could be entertaining FC Springfield

Aviators (walkover) maybe get a slightly stiffer test against Nocturnal United

AS St-Lambert to face WinningConnection

NO! The Class Acts WILL be entertaining FC Springfield. Woo hooo!! Ronaldo is going to tear them apart just like last time out :p

=================================
Three Match Totals: (Second Round Results)
=================================

1800-France.com vs Ajax Reserves (172-167)
(Turning it on when it mattered, 1800-France.com came from behind, after the first two games, to win the tie against Aviators Reserves by a juicy five points).

AS St-Lambert vs RamRod FC (131-93)
(The inactive RamRod FC got off to a lucky start but AS St-Lambert eventually secured the tie by 38 points).

Aviators vs KC Dynamo (177-97)
(Aviators were never really troubled by a dormant KC Dynamo and strolled the tie by a highly respectable 80 points).

FC Springfield vs DC Chickenhawks (160-116)
(FC Springfield made a clean sweep to win the tie by a comfortable 44 points).

London St. Germain 3 vs The Class Acts (114-127)
(The Class Acts pulled off the shock win of the round to win their tie by 13 points).

sporting-FC colombia vs Nocturnal United (81-149)
(Nocturnal United made it look easy to win this tie by 68 points and now have to meet the Manchester United of fantasy football -- the mighty Aviators).

TVDPhenomenons vs WinningConnection (133-161)
(WinningConnection led from start to finish to win the tie by 28 points and must now be one of the favourites to go all the way).

Windsor Wanderers vs Kopite Juniors (132-144)
(Kopite Juniors got the best of this see-saw event to clinch the tie by 12 points).

I want to hear from Hal and the Aviators who had me down NOT to win this tie and go through to the quarts. Ironically it was the same LSG 3 that knocked me out the quarts of the UEFA Cup.

There have been some Premier League changes (as almost always).

They don't affect the outcome of these ties though.

1800-France.com 56 -- up to 59
WinningConnection 50 -- down to 44 (loses silver medal)
Nocturnal United 48 (promoted to silver)
Ajax Reserves 45 (promoted to bronze)
Kopite Juniors 44
AS Saint-Lambert 40 -- down to 34

The Class Acts, otherwise known as the PSV Eindhoven of our little intra-league Champions League :)

FC Springfield manager Montgomery Burns, when learning about this draw, simply replied "exxxxcccceeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllent" ;)

Congrats on your win! Albiet with the lowest winning aggregate score (127) of all the quarterfinalists.

Sorry, Brian,

United Forever still gets no respect when playing with the big boys.

You had a huge advantage with players playing two games the first week of the 3 match series with LSG 3 and still only managed to win by 13.

Quarterfinalists (plus one)

177 Aviators
172 1800-France.com
(167 Ajax Reserves who just happened to play one of two teams in the 3 match series with a better score.)
161 Winning Connections
160 FC Springfield
149 Nocturnal United
144 Kopite Juniors
131 AS St. Lambert
127 The Class Acts

(Both TVD Phenomenons (133) and Windsor Wanderers (132), had a better aggregate score in losing their 3 match series than The Class Acts.)

Ha Hal it was LSG 3 that had most of his players playing twice. I had TWO players and one was ON THE BENCH which was Zielger. So with his players still playing twice he was not able to beat me :) Game on man!!

Yeah, I really feel for Ajax.

Such a magnificent head-to-head and plenty of transfer dealing to make a real match of the three game series.
