In a very bizarre turn which has been seen as a 'major blow for the prosecutors', the US is refusing to allow any testimony from some of it's prisoners to help convict a man charged with helping to plot the 11 September 2001 attacks.

This is now 'Breaking News on most of the major news channels in the UK, and most people have no idea why this stance was taken, it doesn't really help any 'War on Terrorism'........

An election year is like 'that time of the month' for a woman. The country just goes absolutely nuts, and the politicians, the people who run this goddamn country, are the worst of the bunch.

I guess this is at least consistent with Bush's current policies - we're not looking for Bin Laden or WMD's, either. We're too busy throwing contracts to Halliburton for rebuilding the place we blew to smithereens.
