Reyes' Magic Boots

I know this came up in another thread, although for the life of me I can't find it.

Reyes was definetely wearing those new Nike "Total 90" boots yesterday, so I must assume that he no longer has an agreement with Kelme.

Rick (442), since you have some knowledge of the global scourge that is Nike, did Nike sign Reyes to a shoe deal? Maybe there won't be any announcement until the season officially starts.

I have no insight to Nike or anything but as late as Friday afternoon last week, they still have Reyes on the Kelme website.......

The new 442 came out and Reyes is on the cover wearing Kelme from head to toe. Strange if he's been wearing Nike boots this year. They are even advertising for some contest to win his Kelme boots.

The article is good and worth the read. I didn't realize that Lauren live in a town close to Reyes. Good brief history on him. Not sure if it's out in the US yet, I have a subscription but it usually shows up the same time as it does in the stores.

Lauren is one of those guys that I guess I just never have paid attention to him. I pretty much know nothing about him outside of his time at Arsenal and he's done well there.
