Congrats to Gabrielle Schulz for her win in Week 1, as she nipped Luke Paglia by 1 point. As a league, we pretty much sucked, but things will get better.
P.S. If I know your BigSoccer name, that's what I'm going to use.

Thanks; I'm sorely in need of a reputation. The M. Schneider is Markus Schneider, not Matthias (MattBro). Any relation, by the way?

Go to Kicker homepage
On menu along leftside of page, scroll down to Games
Click on Managerspiel
[at this point, you may have to enter your e-mail and password; if you've forgotten the password, enter your e-mail in the appropriate box for forgotten passwords, and your password will be mailed to you in seconds]
You are now at the Managerspiel page.
Find "Mitspielen" (usually in the story box at the top); click on Mitspielen.
Go to Spielmodus at the top of the page (it is a drop down menu).
You have three options: Classic (who cares; don't worry about it); Interactive (this is what you need to change your team); and ManagerLiga (this is our league, with standings).
To change your team, click on Interactive.
Go to the "Mein Kader" box and click on Mannschaffsbestellung.
Your roster will come up. Go to bottom of page and hit the red box (Aufstellung Andern).
You will see your team with check marks. Uncheck the guys you want out of the line-up; and check the guys you want in. Then his the red box at the bottom again.

We have already had just as many league leaders this year after two Spieltags as we did the entire season last year (2). Winning this week was Luke Paglia. Luke, who finished second last week by one point, may hold the lead for awhile, since he's built up a fairly decent lead. Perhaps we should We were pretty dreadful as a league again. Some of the "vets" (AlexK, Syncope, Mattbro, me) apparently are still in extended training camp and have really dragged the league down. But we'll turn it around ?!?

Congrats to Jeannette Herzog, who came through with a monster 61 point performance, which is the highest point total of this season and last season. Luke Paglia cooled off a bit, but did well enough to maintain a comfortable lead over the rest of us. As a league, we picked up a bit, but are still below where we finished last year.

That's nothing. My classic team, after three games, is -50. I couldn't even try to be that bad.

Runaway win for WindyKid this week, and he narrows the gap at the top to just 8 points. High finish, too, #291 overall. Last year, I think our highest weekly finisher was CarstenGB in Week 34, when he finished in the top 100 (91st, IIRC). We've had four winners in four weeks, thereby showing some depth in the league. For those who didn't do this last year, the contestant that wins the most weeks "wins" the Pokal and "qualifies" for the UEFA Cup automatically. I think Meghan Elizabeth won 7 weeks last year, IIRC, to capture the Cup. Right now, the championship is a two-team race between Luke Paglia and WindyKid. What a difference a year makes. At this time last season, I think MattBro had won 3 of the 4 weeks and had built up a commanding lead. This season, MattBro is buried at the bottom of the table. But lots of time left.
On a personal note, I dropped Hristov this week for Schneider. D'oh!

Danke all:)
I didn't expect too much this week, D'allessandro and Neuville made me happy:)
But I am a little bit disappointed with Farenhorst and Marx... Hmmm They should show better performance.
I hope all of us to get good points from now on. Come on BigSoccer.com team!!!

Team Wolfsburgh weathered its injury problems and finally got its act together, posting its first weekly win of the season, as its 54 point total edged CarstenGB's 53 pt. effort. As Yogi Berra would say, it's deja vu all over again. Overall, Luke Paglia continues to lead the way, and gained a little ground on his closest chaser, WindyKid, who now trails Luke by 10 pts. As for the league as a whole, it was another pedestrian performance compared to other leagues.

Wow. WindyKid with a monstrous 73 points, the highest point total in the last two seasons of BigSoccer.Com, and maybe forever (I think Carsten still has the highest weekly non-point finish, when he finished in the top 100 in Spieltag 34 last season). With that effort, he becomes the first two-time winner, and takes over the overall lead from Luke Paglia. He is our third leader of the season, which is one more than what we had all of last season.

A crappy week for the league, but kudos to Gabrielle Schulz who won her second week. Finishing second was WindyKid, who leads overall with 281 points, 34 pts. better than Luke Paglia.
