kvcd problem

this happened once before: i burned a bin/cue onto a CDR and the D drive wasnt picking up the file's presence with a strange display of 0 free space/0 file size - i was able to fix it before, but now i can't remember what i did

ok i checked another CD and it's not reading the free space/file size correctly on that one either so this seems exactly like last time

another dumb question... can i play the kvcd directly from the hard drive?

ok now i have a program called CDmage to extract an MPEG from the KVCD... and no idea how to use it because it has no help section

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but I did just respond to your PM. I'll post here too, to help others who might encounter this same need down the line.

http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141726.php - instructions on how to extract video from bin/cue images. VideoHelp.com is your friend when it comes to dealing with digital video. I've used some guides there to improve my video capture results on my dinky Athlon 850.

thanks as always foos - i used isobuster to extract the mpeg - i'm now thinking that i just had a bad burn the first time around
