The media says your team is not better than the Class Acts but on par. Brian Aleyne manager of the Class Acts did not like the critcism for the midfield which is one of the best in the whole Very Small Rocks ( Div 2) when it is full strength. It will be soon full power. Dunn back in Sep and Ronaldo is never tired. The Class Acts will be contenders for Promotion this season.

The Ajax Rick James manager, Ignignokt, says very arrogantly: "I do not need to explain my transfers to these primitive beings. Joseph Yobo, is a young athletic defender, while Lucas Neill is a very good defender he was not of the highest calibre and did not fit the Ajax scheme."
Final Roster:

congratulations on being the only player to select a Canadian international in the pool...
Even I knows that Brennan shouldn't have been picked. He won't even be on Norwich's bench bar an injury crisis.

The Media has lashed at Chris , the Manger of Ajax Rick James for dissing the other mangaers in the Very Small Rocks. They believe that he will also be a contender but if he continues with the snobby attitude that his dream of promotion might wither away at the end of the season.

I know I did not want to but I had to. If I wanted Carvalho and Mellberg, the heavyweights at the back, I had to pick him.

Giggs: Injury prone and not getting any younger
Vieria: Will be an asset... for Real Madrid
Holland: please....
Dyer: Would be OK if it was the OTHER Dyer... West Bromwich Dyer wont get you more than 50 points and I predict will be promptly benched.

But JM, you have to give him credit!!!! I was going to take Radzinski for nationalistic purposes, but since I'm not sure he will be a regular I took the cold-hearted view. That said, Brennan will ride the bench.

Dutch: your keeper combination is top notch, I will say.
Otherwise, defense is unproven, strikers are good but Smith better hope Ruud is injured for a while, and your midfield will be small rocks after you trade Robben to me. ;)

The Media says that if the Class Acts mid was all available and healthy at the start he would have the best. Sadly there are not.

giggs may be injury prone but hes also point prone getting over 100 last season
viera most likely will not be going to real madrid as it is really too late to make such a essential switch
holland is also a point scorer
dyer will make a nice amount of points

The Media are very skeptical of Wesley's Midfield after he decided to have the underachieving Keiron Dyer in his team. They think it is a mistake that may cost costly.

its worth it for the strong defense soccer is about defense not midfield announces wesley in a press conference earlier today that led to him unrolling his now 4-4-2 defensive scheme that will leave all teams against him goalless

Hum, let's see...
Giggs (good pick)
Vieira (he'll get points indeed when playing with Figo, Beckham and Zidane)
Holland (solid, but not much more)
Dyer (the wrong one... will he even play?)
vs
Lampard (best Mid in 2003)
Malbranque (2nd best pts vs value of Mid in 2003)
Robert (down year last year, now has PK to shoot at with his crosses)
Savage (might look stupid, but still a solid point number last year)
Ok, now you'll tell me "well, my strike force is better than yours..." and "2003 is history, this is 2004"
a) So what!!! Only two fowards are on the field while 4 mid are there. Also,my strike force will always be in a flow. I'll go with the hottest strikers available. I don't mind dropping Bellamy to make a move while someone might be more hesitant with Shearer, Owen or Rooney.
b) history tends to repeat itself. Unless serious injury, most players will produce similar numbers.

lampard was deffinetly not best mid last year viera was by tommorow noon it will be too late forviera to go to real madrid so thats that...malbranque deffinetly not
history never repeats itself why do you think i didnt pick henry because hes not going to do half as well as he did last season
midfielders generally do crap on the field few score goals and i have the major ones that score goals on my team....unlike your insiginificant little team

If midfielders are so crap, how come 3 of the top 5 pts (and 5 out of 10 vs only 3 strikers) getters were midfielders...
Lampard might not be the best EPL mid, but guess what? If he scores 200 pts again, I'll be happy.
Quick call Arsene... tell him not to let Patrick go. I mean he's the major goal source for Arsenal... Wow, all that time I thought Henry was the best goal scorer on the team...

According to the fantasy points stats for last season Pires and lampard were the top two midfielders.
No-one is arguing that Vieira wasn't the best mid in the premiership, he was by a country mile.
But in fantasy points terms he was miles behind Lampard and Pires.
They score goals and get assists, while he gets booked. ;)
