And new just coming through as you see. Manager of Ajax Rick James has just made his first transfer of the window. He has axed Neil into free agency and has hired Yobo. Maybe the manager can tell us why he made that decision.

WOW!! You let go Savage go. Real gamble there aint it. Bellamy would have been a gamble to keep him. Very injury prone.

And Helghallen has released his squad for this upcoming season. Looks pretty balanced and it looks like everybody will be pressing for those 2 spots to get into the exclusive Div 1 . Stay tuned for more.

Thw media is lauding Wesley's team and saying this Div 2 is going to be the best ever and that all the teams are evenly matched. The preview is going to available by August 13th .

Not a bad team, but it could be weak up front.

The problem is Angel, isn't he injured? Yakuba could be an effective sub for you, but it remains to be seen if he can continue last season's form.

As for Vieira, he could be in Spain and Dyer and Giggs are a little too injury prone for me.

Solid back 4, with a weak goalie.

I think you'll finish mid table maybe lower. Certainly not a title challenger.

Good move to get a starting goalie in, Keller is likely a bench warmer this season.

Unsworth good be a bargain buy if he stays out of yellow card trouble.

A little weak up front until Rooney is fit, then you have an outstanding front three.

Greening and Lazaridis should provide some assists and Gerrard (injury free) is World Class. Telfer should sub in if you have injuries. I hope Fernandes gets more playing time this seasn. If so, you have a strong midfield.

Defence is a little weak, but does contain consistent starters. Every clean sheet one of those guys pulls will be a bonus for you.

With Rooney and Owen fit, could be a contender, if not then mid to high table

Frankly, with the two United players not in the starting frame you might lose team value as they get offloaded by the hoi polloi.

No problem if you don't play the finance league..... and if Going for Gold Ronaldo doesn't break a leg in Athens.

If I can put my two cents in... but remember as a fellow challenger I am biased :)

Your starting goalkeeper of course is solid... but putting both keepers from one team is risky if Fulham doesnt play well this year.

The defense is not spectacular but solid. Carhvalo was a good pick up, Mellberg is solid, and congratulations on being the only player to select a Canadian international in the pool...

Midfield I think is your weakest point. There isnt one guy there I think will deliver tons of points... Ronaldo may be tired after EURO 2004 and the olympics, and Okocha is one bad season away from retirement.

If healthy, your strike force is very good... but is Ruud going to be fit? If not, I dont think Stead cuts it as a replacement. Then again, I did the same thing with my strike force, and you are free to criticize my team ;)
