Ajax Rick James FC, citing poor financial management, and lack of a dedicated Board of Directors, has gone into Receivership. Thus suspending completely the season and forcing all the Executives, including the Manager, Chris Totty to resign. The players have been let go from their club contracts and their fate will be decided upon by the Small Rocks' Football Association and the Small Rocks Professional Footballers' Assocation. This decision , effective immediately, will surely cause a headache for the Aviators Manager, Hal as the media so call him.
The club founded in memoriam of the late 80's funk Icon; would've liked to seen the same heights as their namesake, but alas it will not be so, as Ajax RJFC has folded.

The Very Small Rocks League has stepped in to be the temporary owner/operator of the Ajax Rick James FC and has enjoined the League Administrator to serve as caretaker Chairman of the Board of Directors. Accordingly, the team formerly known as Ajax Rick James FC will now be known as Ajax Reserves with Judy Jones hired as the caretaker manager, the first woman to hold such a prestigious position in the Very Small Rocks League.
Judy is allegedly related to the league administrator and has no knowledge of football, so she should be an excellent caretaker manager. She has been to a DC United game but spent the game talking about her family rather than pay attention to the happenings on the pitch. The League Administrator told Judy that her team, the Ajax Reserves will assume the current points total of Ajax Rick James KC, despite what is displayed next to the Ajax Reserves in the Table. Judy reported making 15 trades from the former Columbia Reserves Team in order to acquire all the former players of Ajax Rick James FC. Accordingly, when those transfer points are deducted at the close of this week's transfer window, Judy will not have to also deduct those from the inherited total of 526 points. Judy will get one more 'free' transfer and then will be charged points for any additional transfers beyond that. The League Administrator will announce the final points adjustment for Ajax Reserves after this week's transfer window closes.
Let's all welcome Judy to the League.
Judy's acceptance speech:
"I am so pleased to be named the manager of a team of such fine athletes. I'll have them all over to my house for a team dinner tomorrow night. After tomorrow's practice, I will be holding individual discussions with each player to ask him where he wants to play and what his favorite color is.
Please route all correspondence to the Ajax Reserves via the caretaker Chairman of the Board, the Very Small Rocks League Administrator, the dashing, handsome Hal. Again, thank you for this great opportunity."
Overheard after the announcement, "How does this transfer thingeee work? Unlimited transfers? Just like my credit cards!!"
Effective immediately, Ajax Reserves will assume the record of Ajax Rick James FC and will assume responsibility for fielding a team in the fixtures wherever Ajax Rick James FC was scheduled. This will avoid cancelling any inter or intra league games and losing that precious revenue.

Judy, welcome! And by the way, Stuart Downing is a very bad player. You should trade him to me... ;)

Congratulations, Ajax Rick James FC, you are now eligible for a VH1 behind the music episode.
Judy blushed at her first meeting with Alan Shearer. "So where do you hurt? Thigh? Want me to kiss it and make it better?"
Pressured by the heartless caretaker Chairman of the Board, Judy made the following announcement.
"I'd like to thank Chris Totty for all that he did for the organization and for all the players who tried so hard. We wish Chris and all the players, about to be released, a healthy and bright future in football."

Unless Judy makes another trade for the Ajax Reserves before this week's transfer window closes, here are the points adjustment.
526 points for Ajax Rick James FC through last week.
526 points is starting point for Ajax Reserves.
Ajax has made 15 free trades to acquire the players from Ajax Rick James FC and has made 6 additional trades, 1 of which is free according to the Fantasy Premierleague.com game rules. Therefore, Ajax Reserves point total needs to be reduced by 5 X 4 or 20 points.
526 - 20 = 506 points for Ajax Reserves.
Ajax Reserves table points after this weeks window closes will be:
198 - 80 (for 20/21 trades) = 118
Permanent adjustment to Ajax Reserves Table total is 506 - 118 = 388
Without additional Ajax trades this week, from Saturday forward, the table score reflected for Ajax Reserves will have to be manually increased by 388 for its Very Small Rocks Table position.
This is only 74 points out of 4th place on this table. FC Springfield, beware. Be afraid; be very afraid!!!

Me too... damn. I had the transfer set up but decided against an 8 point penalty this week.
No good strikers left (healthy ones at least). I'd entertain a Drogba for Reyes swap if you are potentially interested.
Doesnt Class Acts have Van Nistelrooy?

Of course you are correct in who has Ruud. As Class Acts has forgone transfers or trades, that makes Ruud untouchable.
Reyes 10.9 for Drogba 10.6 hmmmmmmmm
I'd need to include another trade to free up sufficient cap room.
How about Drogba 10.6 and Gallas 6.6 for Reyes 10.9 and Jaidi 5.2
If you still want Downing,
How about Drogba 10.6 and Downing 7.0 for Reyes 10.9 and Ljungberg 9.9 and I'd have to free up another 3.1 in cap, so I'd probably release Gallas as well and pick up a 3.5 or less defender. You could also have first refusal of Gallas.

Tempting but Jaidi and Ljungberg are on my untouchable list. Plus I cant trade away all my beloved Gunners! Let me think about another possibility, or we could revisit this when the cap space isnt as much of an issue.

I've got extra cash and am interested in doing a purchase/player swap (i.e. I use my funds to be able to pull off the transfer on my end & you get a good player + extra spending money) for Drogba or Reyes if you all are interested. I don't have big-name forwards, but if you look at their stats they all are near the top (after Henry, of course). They all rate highly on the salary/points ratio.
Add me to the list of other people who said "*&#!" when Drogba was pipped by the new Ajax manager.

You'd trade Johnson??? Let's talk soon :)

I will not guarantee anything, but it could be discussed. We have been very happy with AJ this season, and need to be sure to take into the fans' reactions if we sell off their favorite player for a delicate Spaniard.
The problem with Johnson is his value is 8.5, but if I try to use him for transfer purposes, his useful value is only 7.8. How the game comes up with that I have no idea.

Another consideration is who will be signed in the transfer period and to which teams etc... and do we think they'll be more valuable in the second half of the season.

Well combined I think we have around 7.5 in cap space, so something could get done for sure.
I am pretty happy with the core of squad, which includes Sorensen, Silvestre, Jaidi, Ljungberg, Gerrard (FC Springfield's new undisputed captain), and Rooney. Anyone else could be had for the right price.
Ajax Reserves is willing to trade Drogba for Johnson. It frees up cap room for me.

All suggested Ajax Reserves trades are off the table after another clean sheet by Gallas and a stirring 45 minute performance by Drogba.
