I also dropped Duff, but after today's games so I got his 9 points for his farewell gift to the Aviators.
I was trying to acquire Gudjohnsen, but Michel beat me to the Chelsea striker.
so who replaced duff on your team robben as well

Cahill from Everton. To get the forward I wanted, didn't have enough money left for Robben. Thought about Robben, but not sure how much he'll play, and elected not to make a third move this week and weaken my defense to generate the extra funds required.

Well, Cahill acquitted himself nicely against Norwich City

Total trades: SR (119) [+6] to VSR (62) [+5] [change from last analysis]
Total team value: SR (808.4) [+0.1] to VSR (801.9) [+1.2]
Total roster points scored: SR (3622) [+327] to VSR (3335) [+278]
Comparison of two teams with Henry:
SR-Aviators: 35 trades (+2); Team Value 102.3 (NC); Total Roster Points 550 (+30); Pts/M$ 83.8 (+4.1)
VSR-TVD Phenomenons: 4 trades(+1); TV 99.7 (-0.1); Total Roster Points 344 (+23); Pts/M$ 45.0 (+3.7)
TVD Phenomenons: current table score = 426 (387)
Aviators: current table score = 406 (353) (gain of 14 for the week on TVD, minus 4 for Aviators's extra trade that will be posted this week)
Which team would you rather have? How long will it take for the Henry supporting cast of Aviators (who have scored 206 (up 7) more points than TVD's supporting cast) (who have a 83.8 (up 4.1) points / M$ salary to 45.0 (up 3.7) points / M$) to overcome the 24 (down 10 from last week, includes Aviators's 4 pts for extra trade this week still to be posted) point current deficit?
Without repeating the analysis, the same three teams in each division are increasing their roster points scored and points scored per $M and are climbing their table. That's Kopite Juniors, Aviators, and 1800-France.com for Small Rocks and Windsor Wanderers, FC Springfield and sportive St-Lambert for the Very Small Rocks Division.
Winning Connections looks like he's staking a top 4 spot also in the Small Rocks Division, while TVD is hanging on, momentarily, to his lead and may be able to hang on to a top 4 slot.
We have some managers who are starting injured players and appear to have gone inactive. Starting injured players is a clear indication a manager is not paying attention.
The other inactive indication is lack of transfer activity, not even taking advantage of the one free transfer per week.
This game works when all managers stay active, as per the agreement everyone made when they joined these divisions.

I am not inactive Hal. I just dont make any transfers. I like my team how it is. By the way that is last week's standings right?

10 weeks in a row and still in first place
no1 took advantage of me picking up robben and dropping duff which cost me an extra 8 points since duff scored

Thanks Hal as always for the update. Despite manager inactivity, we have a good 4-way race for first place going on.

If only I did not have those 2 bad Gameweeks( 3,9) I could be there as well. I am 5th though.

If only I had selected Pires as captain each of the times he's scored and not when he does jack and sh!t, LOL

Yeah but as Hal mentioned you also have players in your starting line-up that dont play. You may want to revisit the no transfer strategy.

Ok, seems repetitive, but...
Out: Bentley, 6.0, Norwich
In: Vassell, 7.8, Villa
JM - you might want to switch this transfer around again :)

Actually there are three managers within 15 points of you... all their squads are now set. For example I beat you by 14 points this week, so one more week like that and your lead will be gone. Plus your lead is directly linked to the fact that Henry was on fire in the first half of the year. However, you have made some good moves recently, but the long-term trends are working against you ;)

Dont believe in Hals analysis too much
its like a bad stock projection but nonethless interesting
cisse, defoe and SCHOLES have been very cold for me
wait til they heat up
look at swp this week 2 goals eh
ill do some of the other teams analysis for the last 3/4 of the year just for fun later on
and the thing that will change this league is when the epl january transfer window opens up
ex. if morientes does arrive in liverpool where does this leave cisse and baros
etc.....

Another interesting note
The team thats in last place that made our draft 10 hours longer than it shouldve been has obviously quit.
Therefore he has 12 quality players that should be drafted all over again
so when the jan transfer window opens i say the team ranked last gets the 1st pick and the team ranked first gets the last pick
So each team will get 1 pick 1-9 and the remaining 6 players will be free agents
I think this is great and others will benefit more than me because as of right now id be getting the last pick
I think this is a great idea from Team TVD and our MVP from week 10
Shawn Wright Phillips says to the other managers
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

This isnt a bad idea. Commish?

This isnt a bad idea.
Sorry, but I disagree as you shouldn't be able to save your season with a special rule.
He might be last, but made moves in order to improve his team. Also, how can you juge his team is so bad. He's only 3 pts out of 7th place.
As for delaying the draft, as I already said you ain't seen nothing if thing that was a lenghty delay on a BigSoccer draft.
What needs to be clarified is how many promotions spots are available. That's not set in ciment right now.
Anyway, it's up to the commish to decide.
