This is shaping up to be a great week. We are all doing pretty well and tons of games remain.
FC Springfield was impressed with Bolton this week, and could not believe central defender Jaidi is only valued at 4.4. Accordingly, assistant Coach Comic Book Guy did not want to let him slip away. With underachieving Birmingham ... well underachieving, it was hard but necessary to part ways with expensive Mario Melchiot.
Its early, but what the hell. FC Springfield announces what is becoming its weekly transfer (WORST TRANSFER EVER). With a huge bankroll as well, there will be more to come :)
OUT: Melchiot, Birmingham, Defender, 5.9
IN: Jaidi, Bolton, Defender, 4.4
In the bank: 1.7

No problem. I hope he continues to drop in value for you.
I hope Chelsea keep getting shut-outs.
And I hope Drogba can score another goal one of these days. :(

why are you guys hyping up rommedahl
i had him on my real fantasy team which is doing pretty well btw
and after the first 2 or 3 matchdays i dropped him
havent seen any charlton games but it seems that he will need time to gel
his value is dropping so he might be a bargain

Its all about potential :) The guy can run the 100m in almost 10 seconds flat, and he's proven he can score in the past. Along with Gronkjaer though, its true that Danish wingers arent living up to expectations this year. But like Birmingham, its true Charlton is scoring too much these days.

PRESS RELEASE
With all its key players facing teams in the relegation zone or close to the bottom of the table, FC Springfield looks forward to a stellar gameweek (knock on wood) right as the race for the lead of the Very Small Rocks narrows. Coach Wiggum also sends his regrets to KC Dynamo for losing Steven Gerrard but hopes that this will also mean more touches for Luis Garcia.
As stated earlier, FC Springfield is willing to listen to trade offers for Sami Hyypia and Craig Bellamy.

Back from my vacations, I'm very happy to be still near the top of the league.
Time to bring back another time an ex-player (can't be Bentley as I haven't sent him packing yet for his 4th time) as this time it's...
Out: Yakubu, F, Portsmouth 7.8
In: Bent, F, Everton 6.9
Also, ASSL is happy to see that Steed Malbranque is back from his injury and has named him captain for the next game against hapless Palace.

The Executive Board of FC Springfield, led by majority owner Montgomery Burns, has seen enough of Wayne Rooney in twenty minutes that Coach Wiggum was ordered today to drop his favorite player, Dennis Bergkamp, and re-acquire the phenom despite the fact he dons the jersey of the arch-enemy of FC Springfield.
Burns was looking at re-acquiring Kluviert as early as this morning, but after this display decided that fantasy manager realism must take precedence over sentimental picks. Craig Bellamy is warned, however, that he is on a short leash, and will be dropped without hesitation for FC Springfield sentimental favorites Kluviert and Bergkamp if his production doesnt improve soon.
OUT: Bergkamp, Arsenal, 9.1
IN: Rooney, Man U, 10.0
