I didnt pass on henry MY ELECTRICITY WENT OUT DURING THE BLACK OUT!!! and the DRAFTER who took my place didnt draft henry
WTF?!?!?!??!!?
Not totally accurate.
First off, the only reason you had a shot at Henry was because the first two teams inexplicably selected the injured Van Nistelrooy and Shearer.
Second, no one selected for you in the first round. Your turn was skipped when the alloted time expired.
That's how Henry was still available for the fourth team to draft.
When it came your turn to pick again, the 6th pick in Round 2, that's when I stepped in as commissioner and made the round 2 pick and a make-up pick for your missed round 1 pick. Henry was no longer available. Instead I drafted for you Giggs and Saha. And in the next two rounds, I completed your strike force with Yakuba and Angel.
It's time to move on and let go of your anger over your power outage. We tried to do the best we could on your behalf until you returned.
Finally, I made considerable posts enjoining and pleading with everyone to arrange for a proxy to make selections on his behalf. You had plenty of time to arrange for one, I even volunteered for everyone and was so requested by Andrew. Had you arranged for someone and provided a list of your preferences, then your first round pick would not have been skipped, per the announce draft rules, after everyone else waited for an hour for you to arrive and make a pick.
While we can empathasize with your blackout, we think we treated you fairly.
These are the rosters I show as of Andre/Ralph's latest move on 8/30.
All managers are requested to post any corrections to these rosters. A post saying the roster listed for your team is correct will also be welcomed.

I replaced Atouba with George Boateng of Middlesborough last week... otherwise everything is correct.

Andre/Ralph (What do you want us to call you? lol)
I made the correction. I think the actual trades were Dropped Nolan for Boating, then dropped Atouba for Kilbrane.
You can delete your long post quoting the rosters as I made the correction to the previous post.

ASSL press release:
Manager Fortin decided that it was time for action and couldn't wait the closure of the transfer window.
Seeing that a manager disregarded one of its top picks in the draft, Fortin decided to pounce on him.
Costing a precious 8 pts (but something has to be done to catch TVD)
Out:
Bent, F, Everton 6.9
Campbell, F, Everton 6.5
In:
Yakubu, F, Portsmouth 7.7
Bentley, F, Norwich 6.0 (yes, that's the 3rd time I've picked him up...)
"We might have been late for Yakubu's explosion today, but the lad will show again his scoring ability. Yakubu was a target for our second pick in the draft and we couldn't believe he was on the free agent market. Now, we'll wait for him to drop Barry after a poor stretch..."
"As for David, well he's kind of messed up after being in and out all the time like that, but it's all about potential."

PRESS RELEASE
All week FC Springfield manager Ralph Wiggum has been obsessed with the Wayne Rooney saga. Waiting for the announcement to become official, Coach Wiggum patiently waited for the right moment to reveal the secret negotiations the team has been conducting with Rooney's agent for his client's inclusion into FC Springfield in the Very Small Rocks League. Some media outlets are saying these negotiations were even more intense than the bidding war between Newcastle and Man U.
Desperately in need - like Man U - of an injection of new blood, FC Springfield was therefore pained to break the news to Birmingham striker Mikiel Forssell that his services were no longer necessary. Because of his lack of production, but also because he is rumored to be fighting an injury, Coach Wiggum felt that's Forssell's long-term prospects at the club were grim to say the least. In need of a clear captain on the team to fight the Henry machine as well, Coach Wiggum deemed Rooney's health to be a small risk to take when assessing the long-term prospects and production capability he brings to FC Springfield over the year. Plus 4 points was deemed a ridiculously low amount of risk to obtain the future of English football.
Accordingly, FC Springfield announces its latest transfer
OUT: Forssell, Birmingham, Forward, 9.3
IN: Rooney, Manchester United, Forward, 10.0
In the bank: 0.8
FC Springfield would also like to stress that Coach Wiggum has not betrayed his Gunners by selecting one of the stars of the evil Man U machine. Rather, with Arsenal a lock to win the Premiership, and a strong candidate for glory in Europe this year, Coach Wiggum replied that Man U must not be compared on the same level as the mighty Arsenal anymore, and that it was OK to make a deal with the devil when that devil was weakened, but still capable of scoring many goals against the premiership's bottom feeders.

I'm having second thoughts about this one :o . Truthfully I thought Rooney was able to return to action next gameweek. As I was about to click the confirm transfer yesterday I decided to retract my press release. Please reverse the transfer, Rooney is still available, I still have Forssell.

This is not how the transfers work. You announced the trade. You have to make the trade unless you almost immediately renounce the trade.
Thinking it over for a day is not correct. Your announcement, correctly posted took Rooney off the market. You need to execute that trade as announced.
If you want to get Forssell back it should cost you 8 points, or 4 if the Rooney trade was your first for the week.
You should be announcing another trade and have a trade history as evidence that you first dropped Forssell and added Rooney, then dropped Rooney and added Forssell.
Let me review the process for making trades.
Step 1: Ensure you are preparing to make a legal trade. A) Do you have enough salary cap or in the bank resources to make it happen. B) Is the player a free agent and not on another's team. C) Are you complying with the restriction of having no more than 3 players from the same team.
Step 2: Post your proposed trade in the Fantasy.PremierLeague.com Very Small Rocks League message forum: A) OUT: Player X, Team, Position, Valuation; B) IN: Player Y, Team, Position, Valuation; C) In the bank: Z million
Step 3: Check the message forum to be sure that your claim for Player Y was not just trumped by another's claim (post) before the date/time stamp on your post. After confirming that no one else beat you to claiming that player..
Step 4: Immediately go to the transfer function and execute the trade.
Step 5: Optionaly, but encouraged. Go to BigSoccer.com and announce your just completed trade and if it's been a while since you posted your latest roster, go ahead and post your updated roster.
There is no Step 3.5 that allows you to delay making the trade and incurring the points penalties while you rethink your move. If you have a change of heart between steps 3 and 4, immediately go back to the message forum and clearly cancel the trade. This should be within 5-10 minutes of your first transaction post, not the next day.

Hal, understood. Transfer from yesterday has been officially completed, and FC Springfield recognizes today's transfer reversal was invalid. Therefore the original trade stands: Rooney is in, Forssell out, FC Springfield takes a 4 point penalty.
OUT: Forssell, Birmingham, Forward, 9.2
IN: Rooney, Man U, Forward, 10.0
In the bank: 0.8
ALERT to all other managers: now that I dropped Forssell he will probably score twice against Boro on Sep 11 :)

WINDSOR WANDERERS CHANGE:
IN: Speroni, GK, C. Palace 3.7
OUT: Kiely, GK, Charlton, 4.9
Sorry, posted this on the fpl board back on 9/4 but still sorting things out here in Richmond so internet has been flakey.
FWIW, I sometimes wait almost 24 hours to actually pull the trigger on my moves lest somebody challenges the move---this is not so I can change my mind but so I don't eat 4 points or something for picking up a guy on another person's roster. Of course, one time I waited this season the guy I picked up had increased in value already and the guy I dropped had diminished in value! :(

Well as I recently learned that would be illegal, no??? And I think there is supposed to be a penalty for shoddy research aka picking up a player already selected on another squad...
Ah... glad to see the premiership resuming this week... some good matches on tap.

Trades must be posted as soon as possible. Not delay (if not I wouldn't have taken Butt who injured himself minutes after I picked him up :()
Bad news as Steed isn't back after the break. I can only hope he'll be back by October.

oh well well well
Team TVD has looked at the rampant trash talking and cheating moves by some of the other teams and simply laughs them off
We are proud of our players Defoe and Cisse both on target.Henry coming back healthy and dodd has hopefully recovered.
Damien duff asisting in Irelands win as well--should play against Aston Villa.
No moves made so far and leading the rest
