Ouch! Colchester scored three in the last five minutes to win 3-0.
Where did it all go wrong for Wednesday? Are they going to continue to freefall through the leagues and into the Conference?

Sure seems like that is the case. The will be the only Conf. club with a stadium comparable to many Premiership sides.

It all started to go downhill when Paulo DiCanio shoved that ref to the ground.

I actually think it was going wrong before then, but the rot was apparent to all at that point.
If Wednesday lose at Blackpool tomorrow (they beat us four times last season) it's going to get nastier than it already is.
I understand that the chairman has already banned two well-known supporters from Hillsborough -- not because they're hooligans but because they're vocal in their demands that he and the manager go. He's also apparently threatening to have a supporters' forum closed down.
Mr Allen's actions smell of desparation to me. He didn't show up at the opening match Saturday -- although I understand that Ken Bates was there.
