it depends on the accent i guess...people from Busan sound Chinese like, but people from Seoul doesn't sound as bad.
I know a lot of non-asian people and they said Korean sounds much neater than Chinese, but then again, those idiots say Japanese sounds much neater than Korean....So i don't argue against the Japanese language...

Exceuse me?? Cantonese is not a messed up language. Btw, it's not even a language, it's just a dialect that we speak in HongKong and Guangdong... I think's it's really cool... I am even teaching my boyfriend who comes from the mainland speaking it too... Cantonese go go go!!!!

One more thing... I think Finnish sounds quite funny too. It sounds like Swedish people trying to speak Swedish when they are drunk!! I do have a few finnish friends and i can say Mina rakkastan sinua! Guess what that means...

It's not that bad. It's just that a lot of cantonese speaking people talk so loudly. When one screams, every language sounds bad. Of Course the best chinese dialect is Shanghainese.

In Estonian language "I love you" is Mina armistand sind. And yes, the two languages are very similar.

As someone who knows all three, Korean sounds like the German of Asai, Cantonese sounds like French, with proper accent from Canton or Hong Kong, Japanese? It sounds as beautiful as a dream, with proper Tokyo accent of course.
I hope this settles it. :)

Japanese? It sounds as beautiful as a dream, with proper Tokyo accent of course. Why would you want to speak like those cultureless Edokko when you can speak the language of Kyoto or Kobe that is rich and so full of personality (though I must admit, Osaka-ben is a bit vulgar and beneath me).
- When I was in school, I lived with a couple of Korean students for 6 months. At first, I thought they were always fighting when they spoke in Korean.

Chow Yun Fat speaks Cantonese so I consider cantonese a cool language.
Any language spoken by a man who sports two pistols and dives sideways while busting caps in Triad's asses, is cool to me.

True true!! I agree with you as well! Anybody can be loud if they are screaming... no matter which language you are talking about (mandarin, spanish, fench. english...blablabla) , even the most quiet language could b loud if you're shouting...
