That game in N64(yea i know it's old) rocked!
It was called International Superstars Soccer 64. Latest one for PS2 is too complicated for me.

yeah, I still have a soft spot for the N64 version. It was certainly more playable. Classic :) . But the new ones still rock. Permanent resident in my PS2

Yea agreed great game. But I have a lot of trouble selecting the team I want for the club section, no idea which flag belongs to who. Does anyone have any links to a translated resouce guide to this game? Much thanks if you do!

But Fifa is the real deal. I heard that 2005 FIFA is not going to have Korean NT but still gonna have the K-League. I love the K-League in FIFA 2004, stocked my Wimblebon FC with Chong Song Guk (76) and Sin Byeong Ho (78), also got Seol Ki Hyeon (81) from Anderlecht.

Yea I was talking about we8, fifa 2004 looked good, the stadium and the crowd chants with the animation but in terms of realism WE is a better. Just from the Free Kicks, every kick can go on goal in fifa2k4 and the wall is pretty much just there for the graphics.

ummm no...the wall can sometimes block the free kicks...i agree, my friend said that realism is better in WE but as far as animation, stadium, and the crow, and the design of the players, FiFa is the way to go.
My Wimbledon Strikers-Obafemi Martins, Seol Ki hyeon, Sin Byeong Ho, Chong Song Guk, Patrick Agyemang, Wayne Gray and Henrik Larsson.
It's Wimbledon (MK Dons), pretty good for a 1st division club (in Fifa 04)

WE - Flawless gameplay but shltty presentation with generic 80s techno soundtrack to boot.
FIFA series - Crap gameplay but gorgeous presentation with an eclectic blend of world music as its soundtrack.
I hope EA gets it right for FIFA 2005. Wathcing osme of the video clips, they might have as the movement of the players seem mor fluid and realistic than WE8.
But then again, this could be just another shiny diamond neckless around a pig's neck yet again from EA.

You can't even change your formation in FIFA series. There is no competition.

i never said WE was better than EA since i only played WE once, but EA is still pretty solid tho.

I don't think no one here has even IMPLIED gameplay wise, EA was better than the WE series.
I guess when FIFA is mentioned, people just automatically assume there's a bltch-fest going on.

The gameplay may be better for ISS, but FIFA is a much more polished game, i think, and the graphics are better in my opinion (although im a firm believer in "graphics aren't everything, they matter in sports games).
If Konami can get the licenses, then they can totally own EA...

Very true. This what I hope everytime they come out with their games each year. If they can just get their gameplay to be flawless, the FIFA series would be the greatest football game.
