Training Day Photo's (http://www.ofoto.com/I.jsp?c=2b1yg0gp.8mxepk5d&x=1&y=-aqn980 )

Right, here we go again.

The training session, was really just a little show to members. A couple of 5 a side games with a bit of show-boating thrown in for good measure. Ash's flying header was great and Henry and Pires scored blinders. Lehman looked on top form as well.

But for the real news (no pun intended...)

First Pat Vieira was at the ground. He had a walk up the touch line then vanished. After the training session were the squad photo's, which we were not allowed to stay for. Now I was told by a friend at Highbury that there were 2 different photo's. One with Vieira and one without him. I guess that means the club doesn't know what is going to happen to him so are making sure.

Second, Jeffers. he came out and without speaking to another Arsenal player jogged round the pitch twice with one of the fitness trainers. He took no part in the actual session and no player made any attempt to speak to him. A well liked guy then!!

Below is the link for the photo's, I got a great one of Henry on the ground after skying a shot, general player shots and a fantastic one of Wenger crossing the ballin to the area. As I said elsewhere I even zoomed in on Cesc's mullet, I have a feeling that is going to start being a cult status thing around here, reliving Coach's youth............... :D

maybe Arsenal can loan him to Farnborough Town, the team whose motto is "The right team, the right attitude." :)

heck, ship him to MLS....

Nice photos, rick.

And for the record, I have never had, nor ever even thought of having, a mullet. The Coach has been a fan of the close cropping since the days of his youth.

It was said at the Amsterdam Tournament that he picked up an ankle injury, so perhaps this is why he didn't train.

Still odd that he didn't speak to anyone or vice-versa.

No, he was jogging fine. The reason he didn't speak to anyone is because he is not liked by the other players at Arsenal.
Three examples.

a) V Farnbrough. He got one of their players sent off, all the Arsenal fan booed him as it was needless, Farnbrough had their biggest day and their players loved it and were cheered throughout. he threw himself to the floor. Parlour and someone else both pleaded with the ref not to send the poor guy off and when the ref did, looked at Jeffers and shook their heads.

b) V Oxford United. When he scored in the North Bank, he went to Dennis to celebrate, who pushed him away. Jeffers stood still in amazment and realised all the other players had gone back to their half rather than celebrate with him.

c) V West brom away on Boxing Day. He completly hogged the ball, and wouldn't pass to Henry even though Henry was in a better position. We actually saw Henry shouting at him in the second half to pass the ball.

He is too arrogant for his own good and not wanted at Arsenal by the fans or the players. I completly forgot to mention this in my first post so will now, he was the only player not to have a number on his back. All the players where their names would be, had 'Members Day' and a number. He just had 'Members Day'....... That alone tells you a lot.

Rick, make sure you tell Cesc the old saying about the mullet:

Business up front, party in the back.

Sorry Mad, I can't stand the guy. My opinion only I know, but Id rather he just got shipped anywhere and we take the loss we paid out on him.

Rick - any reason given as to why he is still around? Someone must be willing to pay 200 for him? Send him out on loan again

Great pics yet again. As for Jeffers, how many of us would totally f up our pro footballing careers at TWO PL clubs given the chance? He must be a real dickhead, especially for him to be practically quarantined from the team. really sad, whether you like him or not.
