The new season starts tommorow
can some of you posters with more knowledge of the midlevel and lower tier teams post some info about the teams mainly starting lineups and who you think will be the main player or two in each team.
Also who is injured for a while--i know basturk is out and metzelder as well
what about metzelders younger brother is there a chance he will start
Also between ballack frings and deisler who do you think will contribute the most to bayern amongst those three this season
Thanks
lets go klasnic

First off, Klasnic is a great player. Go Ivan!
I think Deisler will contribute the most to Bayern this season.
Hamburg
Pieckenhagen
Ujfalusi-Hoogma-Reinhardt
Maltritz
Benjamin - Rahn - Wicky
Mahdavikia - Barbarez
Lauth
Pardon me if it's not accurate, but this seems like a probable lineup.
BTW I think there's a chance Metzelder jr. will start this season, but probably not for important matches.
Ujfalusi is off to Fiorentina! :D
Hannover 96
I think this is what Lienen will do: :(
Enke
Cherundolo---Zuraw---Mertesacker---Tarnat
Lala---Dabrowski---de Guzman
Sousa
Stendel---Leandro
I hate Stendel, I really do, I would replace him with Christiansen, Stendel needs two many chances, Christiansen can score out of nothing.
We have too many players, I'd really love to see Barnetta and Mathis start, but Dabrowski played a really great pre-season.
And there are Stajner and Wallner hoping for a starting place too.
I think Lala and Sousa will be the key players for Hannover. Lala was injured most of last season and it really showed, he's a workhorse and essential.
Sousa brings a lot of creativity and good passes to the line-up that was also missing last season.
I hope Christiansen will become the top goal scorer he used to at Bochum but for that he needs to start.
about Bayern:
If Deisler stays healthy he will dominate this season, he's that good.
He has the skill to be one of the best midfielder in the world, I really believe that, he's my favourite German player.
You just need to watch him play, he's special, he has that something that no many have.
It's a shame that he has to play for Munich though!

Provided Deisler doesn't get injured I believe he will finally be able to shine as the best player in Germany.
I believe the trio of Ballack, Deisler and Frings can compliment each other very well on the field and this could also improve the national team very much.

Wolfsburg: Jentzsch - Rytter, Quiroga, Hofland, Weiser- Karhan, Thiam, D'Alessandro (Hristov), Petrov - Klimowicz, Bdaric.
D'Alessandro is the midfield general and the player that theoretically should make the team go, but he is on Olympic team duty with Argentina. Klimowicz is the leading returning scorer. Petrov was their best player in preseason. The key to the season may be how well the new central defense tandem of Quiroga and Hofland play.
Gladbach: Kampa - Korzynietz, Pletsch, Strasser, Ziege - Hausweiler, Ulich, Kluge, Broich (Schlaudraff) - Sverkos, Neuville.
Broich and Sverkos are the present and future (but Broich is recovering from a foot injury and just recently started training). I think by season's there will be a good chance that the following will have started significant numbers of games: Fukal, van Kerckhoven and Carnell in defense; Gaede at defensive MF; Demo in an offensive MF role; Ivic as a central MF; and maybe Ramovic in goal. Gladbach needs to sign another striker at the winter break.

Gladbach didn't want Maric anymore, so he's back with Wolfsburg. He's hurt again, and probably will play very little this season when he's healthy. Ahead of him are Klimo, Bdaric, Petrov, Menseguez, maybe Topic. Klimo scored 15 goals last season.

You're absolutley right about Deisler. He is a world class player and has potential to become one of the greats in Europe. That also depends on how Bayern performs though.
Here is what I think Bayern will start with:
Kahn- Lucio, Gorlitz, Kovac, Linke- Frings, Deisler, Ballack, Ze Roberto- Makaay, Hashemian

Schalke vs. Bremen:
I only know till yet, Frank Rost will be the goalkeeper and Ailton a forwarder on Schalke side.
Micoud and Ismael are set on Werder side.

Hertha Berlin squad against VfL Bochum most likely
Fiedler GK
Friedrich D R
Hartmann D L
Schroder D C
Simunic D C
Marx M R
Marcelinho AMC
Dardai DMC
Gilberto M L
Bobic SC
Wichnarek SC
Looks like Schroder will be given his chance over van Burik and the youngsters...he's looked good in the preseason after his couple years at Koln.
