This thread will be used for the actual draft. We will start another one for the parallel draft too. Let's not discuss much in here and keep it for actual picks and updates.

Once we get both draft leagues managers spots filled I will post the draft order (done by blind draw by my 13 year old) on Thursday evening or Friday morning. (depending on my flight back from New York!!)

Uh oh, boys. I think DC Chickenhawks had the #5 slot last year as well, and you know how that turned out. Be afraid...

So I'm thinking that Hal should just go ahead and select Henry early... :P ;)

Even though their's no time limit until tomorrow morning, we might get lucky and get a round or two done with early picks...

Assuming Hal takes Henry with pick #1, I guess I need to make Jon's proxy pick for him. He hasn't sent me a list yet, though, so I'll have to decide on my own. Right now, I'm leaning towards Crystal Palace's 3.0 rated keeper, Berthelien. I'm pretty sure Jon would want to snag him early...

Hal's Aviators are shocked at having the overall #1 pick. They have convened a special meeting of the Aviators' Board of Directors to see if there is any reason to pick someone other than Henry. The meeting was short. The BoD authorized an early press release prior to the official draft start to possibly jump start this draft. Aviator's are pleased to be able to introduce Henry to their long-suffering fans and confirm they have selected Henry as the #1 pick in the 2004/5 Small Rocks League Draft.

My first pick Pires, Arsenal

As expected, my provisional team picks are getting brutally scratched.

Look's like the Palace keeper could be mine though.

Good morning everyone.

19 min until the "official" start time.

Just checking in and wearing my Henry replica jersey I won for being second in MFLS last season. Felt it was appropriate since Aviators drafted the superstar this season.
