The last pick was at 10:55 am Central time. Hal, the clock is ticking ...
Sorry for the delay. I have a trouble call in on my cable modem. It's intermittent, keeps dropping the signal. Just what I needed today, more complications.
Anyway, my two picks are:
32 Aviators Van der Sar** Fulham** GK 5.5
Round 5 Pick Team** Cost**
33 Aviators Ljungberg** Arsenal** Mid 9.0

Does anyone else think this is taking WAY too long? If we're all online, there's no reason to have such long delays between picks. Maybe we have too many people making proxy picks on multiple threads?
This could have been over by now, and yet we're only up through 4 rounds with 8 managers?
This isn't "live" it's "semi-live." Maybe we should just switch to an outright "semi-live" draft, wherein each manager has 12 hours to make his pick. That way, we can all get on with our lives, just checking in occasionally. The draft would still be finished in time for Gameweek One.

Otherwise, I suggest we all congregate to a Yahoo! chatroom and bang this thing out in the next hour. It could be done easily that way.

It should be a lot quicker I agree. Let's all make an extra effort to post picks as quickly as possible. Is it time for a 15 minute time limit?
