English football player David Beckham attends a press conference to introduce the David Beckham limited edition adidas Predator Pulse on July 29, 2004 in Tokyo, Japan. The shoes will be only available in the size of David Beckham, UK size 9 and 723 pairs will be sold world wide this summer. Each pair will be uniquely numbered from 1 to 723 at the price of 723 Euros. Now that's one fuggin' expensive soccer boot! The pairs numbered 1, 7, 23 and 723 will be owned by Beckham himself. The number of 723 comes from his current and previous uniform numbers, 7 and 23. Personally the only difference I see between these and his regular silver boot is the red on the right boot and the alternating silver and red studs on the bottom.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me:
a) Would anyone pay that disgraceful amount of money for a pair of boots?
b) What are the differences?
and c) Beckham doesn't wear UK size 9, he wears a UK size 7 and 3/4, specially made for his feet.
