God, I have waited so long to start a quality game day thread.

Our reserves vs. their reserves, apparently.

And now all we need is for Catfish to predict a 2-0 scoreline and the season can get underway.

Fergie has already stated he'll field a weakened side. We may not want to do well in this game. The winner usually doesn't win the title. You have to go back a few years for the CS winner and league winner.

However, I'd like to break tradition and win everything.

i can't freaking wait for this game because it finally signals the beginning of the season. I'm going to the DMB shows at Alpine Valley in WI that weekend and I'm hoping that my hotel has FSW, but it probably won't.

I saw Radiohead there last summer. Place was freakin' packed, but a nice venue to see a show. :)

Man U doesn't look so good right now, I know they are missing a few key players, but the American tour didn't do much for them over here.

Arsenal 2 - 1 Man U That's my early prediction - always subjuct to change all the way up to the 89th minute of the game. :D

I never make score predictions. I make us lose if I do.

Coach and Phishy,

I love you guys. Am I that predictable? LOL......2-0 to The Arsenal!!!

I think Man Utd is not that threatening, at least not now. I know this match really doesn't mean anything in the big scope of things, but it's all about pride for me.

Up the Gunners!

Apparantly he is playing part of the games tonight and tomorrow, so he'll get some match practice, but I doubt he'll play in Cardiff.

Score, I think a 3-0 win for us. Fergie is going to have to rest some players after the Vodophone thingy and I think the US tour will bugger them for the first couple of weeks........

Not that I'm superstitious or anything [knocking on wood] but I wouldn't mind at all if Wenger used a lot of the new faces for this match and let the chips fall where they may.

I really want to see R. Van Persie, Reyes, and Flamini get some playing time, since they are our future.

I love it!!!!! Arsenal from now til May!! (Although I will admit with the last Phish concert happening next weekend in Vermont - of which I will be there:) I have been less focused over the past few days on Arsenal)

I would love for the gunners to start off phresh, exciting, and completely whoop up on manure, 4-1. My guess is it will probably be 1-0 to the Arsenal.

Bring 'em on. I'm looking forward to seeing van Persie, Aliadere and Pennant.

Our depth vs their depth. Maybe a better test of the teams.

This is the best news I have had heard all day. So if I can't make it down to The Globe, the new home for Chicago Gooners, I can sit in the comfort of my home with my 2yr old daughter as we chant, "Arsenal!"

You neg repped me yesterday, and I couldn't return the favor because I was giving so many neg reps anyway.

An eye for an eye. The post had nothing to do with it.
