Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal. Manchester United's run is over, Chelsea won't win the title until 2005-06, Newcastle United are declining, and Liverpool won't get thier act together until they ditch Michael Owen. Expect big things from Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur in the next few years

Last year they brought in a whole load of gfted players at huge prices, and they did finish third, but like the rest of the epl were unable to tackle Arsenal.

I'm not pulling for Chelsea, but they finished second in the epl, and knocked Arsenal out of the CL in a fantastic match. Drogba, Robben and Kezman are quite the acquisitions, as well.

Voted for Chelsea (unfortunately).

If Arsenal is without Viera, they won't win it-- plus, they won't get the great numbers out of Pires again this year.

1 Chelsea (all that and Carvalho too!)
2 Liverpool (Cisse a great acquistion; Houllier is gone!)
3 Arsenal (No Viera, no title)
4 ManU
5 Aston Villa
6 Newcastle (Wish I could pick 'em to win it!)
7 Birmingham

I predict it will be very close and really any of these 4 can win:
1). Chelsea -loads of talent (2 players per postion) and great coach. Although, I can see them self destructing.
2). Arsenal -i'd pick them if they could hang on to Viera
3). Liverpool -Cisse will prove to be a great addition.
4). Man United -don't know if they're done buying but missing Rio, C. Ronaldo, and Heinze for the season start might be enough to keep them out of top spot.

Muppet.

If you knew anything about The Premiership, rather than trying to talk up Colombian players, you'd know that Villa have ZERO chance of winning the title.

I'm definitely hoping for United to win, but I need to see that they have things sorted out and aren't in a panic at the back in key situations.

Honestly, though, I have a feeling this might be Liverpool's year. Very scary thought.

Why does everyone think this year will be different for Chelsea?

Last year they brought in a whole load of gfted players at huge prices, and they did finish third, but like the rest of the epl were unable to tackle Arsenal.

So i ask even with a new coach, who i give the greatest praise to, and with a new crop of big signings, how can they win the title? They will be trying hard in the Champions league for sure and perhpas will focus heavily on the FA and Carling cups as well. Mourinho insists he will stick to a definate core of players throughout the season, so how can they avoid injuries and fatigue? Plus this team has no chemistry as players enter and leave so much.
Well, actually they finished second. But, seriously they have the best chance of winning it though. I wish it was Man U too but they are just so stacked. They must be one of the deepest side in the world. Arsenal will have a tough time protecting the title. With Viera's transfer imminent, they are going to lose a leader and a major part of thier success last season. And Man U, well we certainly haven't helped ourselves. Smith, for all his heart isn't the most skilled player in the world and heinze had to be the worst defender for Aregntine (I hope his form from PSG carries over) and then 3 other bit players. And then on top of that we might lose for Ronaldo for more than 2 months.

Arsenal should retain the title. they simly have the best squad in terms of experience and youth.

If Vieira leaves which i dont think he will now, it will put damage to arsenals chances but, they have quality youth possibles in Flamini, Fabregas and we look to be signing Javier Mascherano, a 20-year-old Argentine international. And maybe Micheal Carrick.
Them in there own right along with peris, ljungberg, edu, gilberto and Pennant is enough quality in midfield to retain the title. not forgeting vieira.

we have the best starting four defenders and without doubt the best choose of strikers in the world. Henry, Reyes, Bergkhamp and Van Persie.

Arsenal will retain the title, and manchester utd will come in second with liverpool beating chelsea for 3rd spot along with newcastle coming in fifth.

I think Viera is on his way out the door at Arsenal and if so, it will be Chelsea.
