Arsenal 'Red' Members please.....

Well well well, what a surprise. It looks like the fantastic fanbase in the Uk of 20,000 Silver members has yet again surparsed itself by failing to sell 8,000 tickets for the first match at Highbury of the season. Absolutly crazy. Anyway, I have made a couple of phone calls and it is now looking very likely that the first 2 matches will go on sale to Red members after Silver members have not taken all the tickets. Now as most of you reading this will know me, I will spare you the bull of what im trying to do as you know!! For those that don't P.M. me. So please can those who ARE NOT GOING TO USE THEIR RED MEMBERSHIPS FOR THE FIRST 2 GAMES please P.M. me their details so that I can use the numbers and get tickets for people who have asked me. Obviously I will not get tickets for any other match unless I ask you first. I will be able to get it cleared by the club to pick the ticket up myself, but may need a e-mail from you to the club to do it, which I will check with Jill tomorrow.

Sure, will do. Though it won't be a matter of yes or no - more like finding a set practice that can carry on. Just realised I won't be able to speak to her until the Beveren match, so i'll have a chat with her on Wednesday and sort it out. The matches won't go on sale until next Monday at the earliest, but we may as well get this sorted as it will benifit anyone who comes over.

I forgot about this earlier!!

I had a chat with jill last night about the issue. She has said that if I buy the tickets on the various memberships, then the tickets will automatically be kept at the box office as the addresses are (I presume overseas's). She is goig to e-mail me when she has sorted some kind of system out where she will herself collect the tickets and then give them to me before the game. So therefore it is a goer and any match that goes to red level will have more tickets available to members of this board and ArsenalAmerica in particular. I will post when each match goes to red level.

Thanks to those who have given me their memberships. I have the potential (as Jeger kindly said he would get Emily's if needed) to get 6 tickets now to every game that goes to Red Level. So hopefully, fingers crossed, this could be a more organised and proper way of people getting tickets when coming over.

A new ticketing "request" system for our members should be in place by this weekend. The rudimentary parts of it are already online and will allow people to "request" help in finding a ticket. That way those who have access to tickets, or to Arsenal, or to whatever can get in touch with those who need tickets.

I just have to finish writing the code. As always, feel free to send me your ideas on what should and shouldn't go into it.

Well firstly, you need to get all the info together. I suggest you e-mail the club to get the right department for Silver membership as it is based out of London in Stoke. Then you have to wait until the tickets go to red level (if they do, it won't happen for every match but will for quite a few) and then you follow the links on the Arsenal.com ticket page to ticketmaster and buy your tickets there. Quite easy really!! If you get stuck, PM me.

I'm not following when it means a match reaches red status.....but I am very excited as it sounds like it is alot easier for american gooners to get tickets. Thanks Rick. Pretty soon you will get a job offer to be a club liason.

Trust me if I ever got that offer, id say no in a flash knowing the hassles that Jill has. Arsenal are not an easy club to deal with....
