Anyone have any predictions on how the old division 2, now League One, will play out this year.
I think that Barnsley will win the title with Tranmere, and Wednesday joining them on the move up.
On the other end, I'm afraid that Bradford and MK's situaiton is close to spiralling out of control. Business affairs aside, they'll both be playing in League Two next year. The same with Wrexham and Torquay. Don't ask me how Chesterfield will miss the drop, but they will. :)

I would like to think that my team, Port Vale, will have a good season under Martin Foyle, but in the absence of Steve McPhee I am not sure who is going to score our goals. Be sure though, Vale Park will be a hard place to get a result and the Vale defence will be the meanest around.
I am looking for 20 clean sheets.

Don't forget Bristol City. They did lose some players, and need another striker, but if they get one more goalscorer they should be a favorite for promotion. I like Tinnion as boss.

Torquay will stay up. We have the best young manager in the lower divisions and he will somehow find a way to keep the squad together and survive this year in the 2nd Dvis .... er, Coca Cola League One.

I've read a few online predictions and i see that Port Vale have been touted as an outside contender for relegation this season. I certainly disagree, and our farcical 3-2 loss to a much better side (on paper) Walsall last weekend shows that we can match the quality in this division IMO.
It'd be great to go one spot better on the table and make a playoff, but there are some big names in the division this season and i don't want to get greedy. A season of consolidation with a fairly transitional list would be nice, there is improvement to come yet.

I'd like to see Bristol City go up after just missing out last year. Tranmere also seemed strong at the back end of last season, I have a feeling they fill the two automatic places. Either Swindon or Hull City through the playoffs.

I don't think Bradford will go down but I'm pretty sure MK Dons will, in fact I can see them finishing bottom again. They got a point against Chesterfield today which actually helped us (Luton) but that's not gonna keep up, and Chesterfield seem to be doing really well anyway considering how close they were to going down last year.
Our 100% record ended today but we're still unbeaten. I'd like to think that Luton could tkae an automatic place but the playoffs seem realistic for us, and I'm sure we can finish in the top 6. Bristol City probably do deserve to go up after they missed out in the playoffs two years in a row, but they haven't had the best of starts...
Sheffield Wednesday should have a good season and will probably finish highly too, but in this league I wouldn't want to predict the winner...
