i think the mini soccer balls dont have a numerical size, their just designated as mini balls. they can be found anywhere, and theyll just be called mini balls.
mini balls are good for keeping your finer foot skills sharp. if you can do a bunch of moves on a mini ball, youll be able to do twice as many even better on a regular size ball.
i dont think you have to worry about wat kind of mini ball your getting, their durability isnt anything to worry about, and if your just using it at home, it wont be an issue at all.

actually, you can buy a size one which is quite small... is something smaller going to help anyway?

well i guess the smaller the ball the finer your skills, so maybe a smaller ball would help you more?
i think probably in the long run it doesnt really matter, just buy whichever one you find first.

It depends what you want the mini ball for? If its for keeping the ball up. Talking from experience the mini balls you find in sports shops are far too light. The best skills balls are mitre 'Futbol de Salao' they are small balls filled with foam and beans so they dont bounce. But they also help to tone your muscles because they are heavier. They are pretty expensive though. But they are fantastic mini footballs i use them.
