Naive Adidas/Liner Jersey question

My daughters team just got her first "real" (select) jersey and its an Adidas with a mesh liner. Sorry, I don't know the outer fabric, but it feels hot.

She plays in hot texas weather. Will this liner make her cooler? Or should she tear the damn thing out?

the way that Adidas jersey is designed is that the mesh liner is supposed to pull the sweat away from her skin, so that it can evaporate faster. so basically, the liner is there just for the hotter, sweatier games.

but the call is yours, if it really doesnt seem to help your daughter, then just tear it off and see, but as far as i know, the liner is designed to be a help rather than harm.

Same thing is true for the Adidas Shark shorts our club is ordering this year. It has a bathing suit type, mesh liner. Going to give it a few weeks to see how the kids like it before I take the scissors to it.
