Is there a way to see QPR games on TV in the USA? Are there any soccer packages available that show first division games? Also, about QPR world, would it be worth getting if I only had a 56K computer at home? Thank you for your time.

There might be a few tape delayed matches on the Setanta Pub Channel, which is avaialable in soccer friendly bars that subscribe.

QPR World is well worth the money, but maybe not as much with a dialup modem. Tough getting the videos, but I'd think that the audio stream would be alright.

FYI - check out our media thread for some more info that might help you

http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121777Yes, the audio stream works for me on dialup (I tend to watch the video at work where I have a much faster connection). It's great getting to hear all of the matches live. My Saturday morning ritual is getting up, getting some breakfast, and listening to the R's at 10 a.m. (with either a cup of coffee/tea or a beer, depending on my mood and what I was up to on Friday night!).

As for the videos, you have the option to both watch them on streaming or download them, so while it might take a while with a dialup, you do have the option to download them and then watch them when that's finished.

Honestly, QPR World has brought me so much closer to the club than when I simply followed them through the internet with QPR.co.uk news coverage and (then free) commentary. The interviews with players, coaches, scouts, and management, plus the post-match highlights (sometimes extended well beyond the goals) and the commentary make me feel like I know QPR at least as well as my hometown DC United (and probably know the personalities of the players much more).

I highly recommend it.

There should be at least three of us watching it in DC at Summers (http://www.summers-restaurant.com/) at 5 p.m. If anyone else is interested, stop by (paging Dylan Pressman, Mr. Pressman, your club is on TV on Friday!).
