When MLS has reached 16, 18 or 20 teams, when players average $1M annually in salary, when most every team plays in an SSS, what would be the best thing for MLS do with the money?

They will definitely be snotty about realising national team players. In the future it's going to be almost impossible to get the "A" team together.

Hmmm,...an all soccer all the time channel...not a bad idea. If tennis and golf can do it, why not MLS. Besides, Sportscenter will still be overlooking soccer.

When the Giants are the 2nd tenants in Metropark, make them play with soccer lines on the field even after the season ends.

We won't arrive until the teams get snotty about releasing National Team players. Until then, we're bushleague :)

I did actually notice two days ago when watching MNF that you could still see the center circle on the field at CMGI even with the football lines up.
I just thought of something else I should have included in the poll:
7. Team up with rich MFL clubs G-14 style to thwart the interests of all other, less ealthy clubs in CONCACAF.

I think that will happen regardless if MLS gets rich or not. :) But yes, make football play on turfs with soccer lines. My dream come true........

Um, no. I don't want that filthy game touching the sacred walls of the cathedrals of the beautiful game.

We have one already. It just has to share the stage with Rugby, Cricket, and Aussie Rules to get the word "world" in its title.

Buy GS for the Metro-Stars --send the Rolling Stones to the minors and buy the Giants a 22,500 modular stadium in Hackensack out of pity...

What is the Big Deal about Football Lines?
sometimes i wonder about American Soccer fans, do NFL fans complain about the infield baseball dirt they have to play on sometimes? also the chiefs, Broncos and Pats all play on fields with Soccer lines, its no big deal, get over it guys there are more important things.

It is a big deal. Baseball only infringes on a fraction of a football field, and it still does not look all that bad. Want proof? Watch a tape of DC v. Metroscum from the 12th. Absolutley terrible field conditions.

I would go with Soccer channel, if it has the same foot print as ABC or ESPN nation wide.

Use the money to buy out Fox Sports and then make Jim Rome do a soccer only show.
