Here's an article (http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~544316,00.html) from the Reading web site.

Sounds like the boss has a good, realistic set of expectations.

Plus, it looks like you might be able to watch Bobby's highlights. (http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/World/0,,10306,00.html)

Hmmm, might have to put together a partnership. :)

Another article (http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~544033,00.html) on Bobby's signing is now up at the Reading site. It sounds like they think MLS is particularly difficut to deal with. Saying they've been "pursuing it seriously since Christmas," their director of football also said:"The MLS is a complex organisation to deal with - it's a long process, they have a board of directors, a Commissioner and a Deputy Commissioner, and everything has to be in line to get to an end point.

"So the whole thing took an enormous amount of time, the goalposts were moved on a number of occasions, but I think they respect that Reading FC has been persistent and diligent in the way we've tried to do the deal, and over a period of time that's given them confidence to deal with us."

Interesting reading from thier point of view.

I am a subscriber to thier website so I get all this stuff in emal.

Does anyone here know yet if BC will wear % 15 for RFC? Just wondering.

Also at the end of the above article, there is a link to email your questions to the editor of RFC's website. The email address to send questions to Convey is editor@readingfc.co.uk

Here is the article (http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~544643,00.html) about the planned Q & A interview.

Curios, on MLSNET.com Wynalda's weekly article says Bobby still hasn't received his work permit. I thought all details were done. Any clarification or is Wynalda behind the times?

I think they'd already assigned squad numbers before his transfer went through, and there's already a #15.

Here's a quote from an article (http://washingtontimes.com/sports/20040723-123133-2968r.htm) from the Washington Times from July 23:

Convey was issued a work permit by the British government, removing all technicalities from this deal. United will receive a major player allocation from Major League Soccer for Convey.

Other than that, all I can find is Wynalda's article.

I'm guessing he'll take up 30 again.

I know Bobby is rapidly becoming an off-topic character, but I knew this question was floating out there.

Is it me, or is Bobby starting to look like a young George Best?

Now all he has to do is net 6 in an FA Cup match against Northampton. No pressure. :D
