It sounds like they think MLS is particularly difficut to deal with. Saying they've been "pursuing it seriously since Christmas," their director of football also said:"The MLS is a complex organisation to deal with - it's a long process, they have a board of directors, a Commissioner and a Deputy Commissioner, and everything has to be in line to get to an end point.

"So the whole thing took an enormous amount of time, the goalposts were moved on a number of occasions, but I think they respect that Reading FC has been persistent and diligent in the way we've tried to do the deal, and over a period of time that's given them confidence to deal with us."

Curios, on MLSNET.com Wynalda's weekly article says Bobby still hasn't received his work permit. I thought all details were done. Any clarification or is Wynalda behind the times?
